A great day yesterday! Even better this morning was the fact that I saw 192 flickering around on the scale, but alas, it didn't settle there. Maybe tomorrow though.
I was definitely busy all day yesterday and didn't have much time for food at all. The AM snack was missed since I forgot it at home. Lunch was as planned although it was a little late by the time I got to eat it at work. It was so good, I just love those salads, so much flavor. Missed the PM snack as I just wasn't thinking and trying to head out for the meeting that I was running late for. Supper was McD's. I ate a quarter lbr, most of the fries and 1/2 of my ice tea. Not great. The meeting was out late and there just wasn't much to find in terms of food. I need to find something healthier that I could eat. The food doesn't taste so great and I was so hungry that I had it gone very quickly. Oh well, new day.
It was great to be busy and not think of food. I ran erands while DD15 was in the ortho. In less than 10 minutes, I cruised through JC Penney's grabbed two white shirts off the rack in two different sections of the store (trying to find something to go with that skirt I wanted to wear a few weeks ago), one was a "L" (notice, no "X" involved) and the other was a 16. Both were tailored, which I love. Tried them on and they both fit.
I looked sooooooooo good!
It really looked like the real me, like the kind of clothes I used to wear when I was thinner, not the shapeless stuff from my "before" days. So I bought them both, on sale, but to my surprise one was on a clearance mark down and I wound up only paying $22 for both. Good looking clothes that are inexpensive, I love that even better!
Of course, as soon as I got home, I donned my skirt and one of the shirts and went to work. It felt so good to be in nicer clothing that is so comfy. Better yet, it was nice to have on clothing that I could run to a meeting in without being so self conscious about what I was wearing. Definitely the motivation I need to continue on.
Breakfast: 1 scrambled egg w/onion, 1/2 slice 7 grain toast w/ jelly, 1 c. milk, 1 c. OJ
AM snack: veggies
Lunch: salad w/ ham
PM snack: banana smoothie
Supper: either BLT's or something w/ chicken
Goals for day:
1. Exercise for 30 min
2. 2 hr GS, if I get it done, I can do research
3. 3 hr bookwork
4. Take breaks from the computer and walk around the house
5. Begin dejunking my room
Time to get going, the kids are off and the house is quite. So nice. Much easier to get some things accomplished.
Everyone have a wonderful day!

I am glad to hear that DD18 is getting settled in at school and you starting to find the normal patterns at home again too. Congrats on reigniting your passion for your family history too and sharing it with others, such a gift to them!!
filled day!

Lunch was a tuna wrap. DH thinks I should be getting sick of tuna right now. PM snack turned out to be 1 more donut, a Quaker cereal bar, and 2 more donuts. DH brought home a ton of cereal bars, kudos, cheese & cracker packets, etc. for DD7 to take to school for her snack in class. These are not what I deem to be real healthy and the problem is that I eat just as many as she does. I will need to plan to get rid of them quickly and I think I need to have him stop bringing home whatever he feels like. Again, he brought chips in the house. Granted a small bag, but then I watch him scarf down half a bag in 1 min or less and he doesn't realize how much he is consuming. We definitely need some changes. Supper was maybe 3/4 a chicken pot pie. The kids were wanting some, so I bought two and split it between three of us. Then I had 5 kernels of popcorn. Water was great.
This just leads me to look closer at the kitchen (which I knew I needed to wash dishes) and the dining room. All of these rooms have "clutter" and "junk" that was left behind by people who can easily pick up after themselves. It makes me so angry. It also makes me realize that no one has been helping me.
Why doesn't my family want to work with me?
