I have both booked for arrival day and have heard very different things about Les Chefs de France and La Hacienda de San Angel. What would you choose AND what would you order? FYI Les Chefs ressie is for 5:00pm so we'd prob get to see Remy (?) La Hacienda is for 7:45pm, party of 3 (me, DH and DD 13) Want to decide so I can cancel the other and free up a ressie! :flower3:

Chefs. It is our must do every trip. Last time I had the 3 course meal French Onion soup, Short Ribs & Creme brulee Plus I ordered the Goat Cheese Salad-it was my favorite thing the whole trip last time,

La Hacienda

My niece, her husband and I had a fantastic meal there in September.:thumbsup2

La Hacienda for sure. We ate there 2 weeks ago and really enjoyed it.
Dinner at Chef's gets mixed reviews here on the DIS

This isnt going to help but I do not care for either, I would rather go to Via Napoli if it was up to these two I would La Hacienda for shrimp tacos

Two thumbs way up for La Hacienda. The pork with mole negro sauce still has me drooling just thinking about it. And the Tamal de Dulce for dessert was one of my all time favourites.

I've found Les Chefs to be really iffy regarding the quality of the food on our last couple of visits.

Another vote for La Hacienda. :thumbsup2 We really enjoyed the two person dinner platter option.
We just went to Chefs in May and it was kind of boring, nothing really stuck out as being great.

My fiance and I have never had an issue with Les Chefs. The food has always been tastey and we never had a problem with the service. We were underwhelmed with La Hacianda a couple of weeks ago. We split the "La Hacienda" and while the steak was pretty good, the chicken was a little too dry and the chorizo was a little tough and overcooked.
