Les Chefs De France question

My DH describes their Ham and Cheese as the best Ham and Cheese sandwich he has ever had in his entire life. My inlaws are very "mainstream" eaters and they both liked the food.

So do the menu's have any english on them? I'd like descriptions of the entrees similar to the menus on Allears.

If not maybe I'd better jot down the name of that beef tenderloin so I don't forget.

We are considering giving this place a try.

I take any paper menus home so I have the Chef's menu right here!
It has all the descriptions in English. The list the name of the item in French (Gratin de Macaroni) but the description is in English (macaroni baked with cream and Gruyere cheese).

I think any menu at World Showcase restaurant will have the English descriptions. Would be kind of stupid on Disney's part if they didn't!

question.....the beef tenderloin says it comes with potatoes augratin, but I prefer mashed potatoes. Will they substitute? Also the menu says it's basil mashed potatoes. Is it still mashed potatoes with a hint of basil? Any of you tasted the mashed potatoes?

I have to also agree that I was pleasantly surprised when I ate there for lunch with a few friends. We are definately not adventuresome when it comes to food and we had a hard time pronouncing the names of some of the entrees. We did a lot of pointing.

I had the crepe basquaise and it was like having a chicken quesadilla, but with a crepe instead of a tortilla. It was fabulous....the chicken was smoked just perfectly - and the salad was wonderful.

And the desserts - ahhhhhh. The chocolate creme puffs were fantastic.

Thanks to everyone! We did have lunch there, and we all really liked it. Both dd and I LOVED the Macaroni!!! And Remy is the cutest thing ever!

We go all the time! Love it. I always get the mac and cheese. It's very good, but not your typical mac and cheese. So good!!

The french onion soup is YUMMY!!! It's all good. Enjoy your meal if you go

ETA..... HAHAHA you already went, lol!!!! Ooops.. well I'm glad you guys loved it! Isn't the mac and cheese so good?
