Leogland Windsor?

Hello all!

It seems like my family might be lucky enough to go along with my DH for a business trip in London this summer. We have 3 sons, ages 12,10,and 7. I'd love to take them to LegoLand!

It would be late June, not on a weekend. Will it be very busy then? Could we do most of it in one day? My oldest is a big boy, 1.75meters tall and 77kilo. Would he be able to do most of the rides?

Any other suggestions?

We definitely want to spend most of our time seeing other London sights, but thought this would be fun to do one day while DH is at work.

i think you will be fine on a weekday before the schools finish, your son is definately tall enough for everything there, the rides are more geared towards smaller children so anyone over 1.1m will be fine, you should have a great time, those lego models are incredible

You will easily do it in a day!
My DD loves it - I loathe it and the price to get in £22.00 for an adult when we last went.
The LEGO models are fabulous, but for me I just didn't enjoy it and the food wasn't that great, we had more fun acutally in London in Madam tussauds where we got to take part in the 'Big Brother' experience and sit in the BB chair and be interviewd as a family while all other tourists watched us on a big screen making fools of our selves. lol

So when do schools end there? We end June 14. I'd love it if crowds were low.

Do you know anything about the hotels there? We will probably have to stay where my DH has his meetings, but its possible we could spend one night there.

Watch out for the free kids (with a full paying adult) offer on Tesco milk at the moment. It includes children up to and including 15, but doesn't include August.

The schools in the UK break up later in July, it can depend what part of the country as it can vary by a week or so.

The crowds should not be bad at all when you go, I have never been but my wife took our son a few years ago.

You are going at a decent time as you really are better off in the summer months when the weather is nicer, whilst Josh did go on a few rides we possibly went at the wrong time of the year in November.

Overall some of the Lego models are excellent and it's a decent day out for young children, I would say you could easily see it in one day, we feel it's a little expensive but often these sort of places are in the UK.

Its a great place weve been the last two years for my DD's birthday in August.(school holidays).

Just plan your day at the park like you would a Disney day. Get there early Go to the big rides first, Wave Surfer, Jungle Coaster,Dragon coaster,Pirate Falls and Fire acadamy.It gets really busy from mid morning.
Also from this year theres a new water ride which i would think will also be a big draw, so that would be one of your first stops.

Theres also a great Pizza & Pasta Place called Pasta Patch.
