can you get a length of stay pass, to all wdw theme parks, if you stay at BCV or OKW, like you can get if you stay at a regular disney hotel??

Yes you can and you get a 10% discount as a DVC member.

I would appreciate it very much, if someone would please list the different lenght of stay passes, for someone, that is staying at
BCV or OKW.

I am looking for when they start and when they end?

and cost, if cheaper, than getting, park hopper passes.?


Here is my nornal scenario. I come in on saturday and stay at Orlando,FL hotel.
I then get up early and check into BCV or OKW sunday morning at 900AM I then get groceries and check into my room about 100 PM

I am looking for LOS pass, that would start at say sunday at 100 PM, go all day monday-Thursday
and end thursday night.

I fly back to kansas, early that friday morning, so any length of stay, that could be used, after I check out on friday mornining, is worthless to me.

I think many florida residents, check out early there last day and go to WDW theme parks and then drive home late that night, this is not my case. I leave very early on friday morning to catch first connecting flight from MCO to Dallas, Texas to wichita,ks.

There has been other discussions on the DIS that you are often allowed to drop the first / last or both days on you LOS passes. They also state that the break-even point for an AP is somewhere around 7-8 days

I went over this in another thread, but here is a summary...

1) the UPH (length of stay) is only cost effective to those staying 12 days or more as the price freezes on the 10th day... especially for those not planning on returning within a year and plan to make use of the water parks, DQ and/or PI...

2) the PHP offers some value for those not sure how much they'll hit the parks but know they'll be back for another visit in a year or two... unused days never expire and the 7 day PHP gets you 4 admissions to the water parks, DQ and/or PI...

3) the AP is cost effective for stays of 8 days or more... especially if you hit the parks every day and might be back later within a year's time...

I disagree - UPH tickets can be cost effective for shorter trips - it depends on what you plan to do while you are there. APs do not include admission to the waterparks, the Pleasure Island clubs or Disney Quest. The "best/most cost effective" pass will depend on an individual's touring plans. For those who like to spend evenings at PI and/or DQ, a UPH could very well be the least expensive way to go - especially if you factor in the 10% DVC discount. Each person really needs to do the math based on his/her touring plans.

KANSAS - The UPH (formerly known as the Length of Stay) passes normally begin on the day you check in and expire at midnight on the day you check out. DVC members receive a 10% discount on the gate price of the tickets. (DVC members cannot buy them in advance). The front desk CMs generally allow members to drop either the day of arrival or the day of departure. Some have reported that they have been allowed to drop both. In your case (assuming you decide UPH is the way nto go), you would ask to drop the departure day since you will be leaving early and not have time to visit an attraction that day.

To repeat, UPH may or may not be the best value for your stay. If you do not plan to visit DQ, I would suggest you consider a PH or PHP ticket, depending on how many times you plan to visit PI or one of the waterparks. Unused days and plus options on the PH & PHP tickets do not expire and could be used on future trips.

To put some numbers to this thread, a 5 day / 4 night UPH has a gate price of $300.34. Less the DVC member discount, you're looking at about $270 per adult. That gives you unliminted access to the 4 theme parks, PI, DQ, and the waterparks from Sunday to midnight Thursday.

A 5-day Park Hopper Plus (two Plus Options) through Ticketmania (one of the more reputable ticket brokers) will run you the exact same price: $270.

Other options to consider:

A 7-day PHP (four Plus Options) is about $330. This is the longest park hopper you can purchase. The longer a PHP you purchase, the less you end up paying for additional days. In this case, you're getting two more theme park days and two more Plus options for $60. Hopper days never expire. Since you are a DVC member, any days or Plus options you don't use can be saved for your next trip.

The last option would be an annual pass. The base AP gives you unlimited admission to the four theme parks for a full 365 days. That will run you $403.64 per adult. This can be a very attractive option for DVC members if you plan another trip in a year's time.

The Premium Annual Pass jumps up to $531 per adult, but also gives you unlimited access to DisneyQuest, the waterparks and Pleasure Island.

The experts have told me that LOS, does not make sense, unless staying for at least 12 days.

But, other experts have told me that sometimes the people at guest services, will sell you a LOS, without the last day/Friday.(The Day I leave early in the morning to go to the airport)

A LOS for only four full days MONDAY-THURSDAY, perfect for me and I am only paying for those four days monday-THursday in LOS.


If either is possible, especially, #2, would a LOS, of stay now be more attractive?

You should be able to "drop" both the arrival and departure days from your UPH, leaving you with just the 4 days' worth of admission. This should cost you about $226 per adult with the DVC member discount.

The alternative would be a 4 day Park Hopper (no Plusses), which will cost about $215 per adult when purchased IN ADVANCE direct from Disney. You can order on Disney web site.

If you do not purchase in advance, the ticket price goes up to $233 per adult at the "Gate".

If you have no intention of using the "Plus" attractions on this trip, I would definitely recommend the 4 Day PH, advance purchase. If you don't have time to purchase in advance, or just don't want the hassle, get the UPH upon arrival.

Point taken! Yes, that is especially true if DQ and PI are high on the priority list.

As stated, UPH (LOS) should only be purchased if DQ and PI are a high priority. Admission to PI could be used as one option in a PHP pass. A 4 day UPH is $236... less 10% = $212. That is a pretty decent price and is a better option to a 4 day PH, which is only $10 less with advanced purchase. Then again, if you do not do anything but the theme parks it is $10 wasted.

On our last trip... 14days/15nights we had UPHs, but only because we got a deal by receiving a 31% discount with a CDN dollar at par promo. Otherwise, an AP would've been our best option. We hit the parks 12 of 14 days, went to TL and DQ once and only strolled through PI.

Just length of stay, no other DVC discounts on admission media.
