I had hoped to purchase my length of stay passes in advance to help cut down on the time associated with checkin (I had been told by someone at OKW that this was possible). I figured I could drop off my luggage, pick up my keys with the LOS pass encoded on them and be on my merry way. Alas, when I called OKW to do this for my Dec trip, the person on the phone said that this was not possible! Has anyone had experience with this? Help!!!

You have to buy your LOS pass at check in. It doesn't take too long - they won't make your keys until you get there, and if you want LOS passes, they just put them on the keys that they are making for you.. But you can buy park hoppers in advance - which a lot of DVC members perfer.

I think the annual pass is the way to go, if you can make it 2 times to Disney in a year. Here is the price.
annual adult pass.....392.99
a length of stay for 7 days is.......392.99
WOW..
Buy yourself the annual pass, then you will
just HAVE to go back!:Pinkbounc

Just to add my two cents, I don;'t think the LOS are always the best value. I usually get an AP for me (since I sneak in at least 1 solo trip a year) and 7 day hoppers for everyone else. Usually we make 2 of them last 3 trips. If you buy them from Paramount they are $301 an adult and have 4 plus features. Also they are not allowed to advertise it, but they come with a free character breakfast coupon. Makes it a real deal ($15 shipping per order).

Ahhh, but will you go AP or PAP? PAP adds water parks, PI and DQ. It's about another $100 to get PAPs

Just APs - with the 30% AP discount on green fees, I may never have time for PI, DQ or the water parks! Although DW and DDs may think otherwise :p
