We are headed down to San Diego this weekend and will be going to LEGOLAND for the first time on Saturday with our 5 year dd. I am trying to decide whether the Premium Play Pass is worth it. I've heard the lines in the summer can be pretty awful. We won't be doing any thrill rides so I'm not sure if we actually need a front-of-line pass. TIA

I wasn't sure what it was so I checked online. It sounds like you get front of the line privileges on rides, reserved seating at shows, and free food at certain restaurants. But it is $150 per guest and that is on top of admission.

For a 5 year old there might be rides he cannot go on due to height restrictions so check those out at the LL website.

We didn't do any shows so I can't speak to whether they are worth it.

To get your money's worth you probably should eat lunch, snacks and dinner in the park. Kids eat free after 5PM with an adult purchase without the pass anyway at many of the restaurants listed.

If you don't do the pass, I recommend getting there as close to opening as possible and get in line at the popular rides (Volvo Driving School, Sky Cruisers come to mind).

Good luck and have fun!
