For two adults, ds (11) :earsboy: ds (8), ds (4 -almost 5) and dd (3 1/2)
I was leaning towards Legoland, they like lego, and I thought it would be more suitable for their ages. Some say, they like universal better. ds #8 doesn't like any scary or rollercoaster rides.
My only experience is universal in FL, before we had children, and I thought it would be better once they are older. Your thoughts.
We are doing DL/DCA for 4 days.
Thanks! Less then a week away!! :cheer2:

I'd say Legoland, too. There are a couple of scenes in the Backlot Tour that might scare small children, and my dd freaked out when we saw Backdraft when she was 4. They believe so much at that age.

Definitely Legoland all the way! My son is 9 and has loved going there since he was 4. Universal has almost nothing for younger children at all. We went both places on our last trip and we all enjoyed Legoland to the 20th power more! We even were pleasantly surprised to eat the best meal of our trip there. For about 30.00$ you can have the Feast at the Knights Table restaurant. It would feed the whole family and then some(we have 4 in our family and had so much left over) it included pork chops, hot dogs, fries, mashed potatoes(yum!) onion rings, salad, rolls, turkey leg, chicken strips, and corn.
The lines were kinda long at Legoland but the kids had lots of fun. Be sure to check out the deals at the stores too! :Pinkbounc

Bring your AAA card . . . they had AAA discounts the last time I was there. Their website says with your AAA card you can get the 2nd day free through the end of August.

They have preferred parking that is VERY near their main gate. At the end of the day it was so worth it with the tired little legs I had with me. The preferred parking is $15 and the regular parking is $8 . . . I would highly recommend going for this.

There is a water play area & you may want to consider bringing swimsuits to change into.

RIDE THE SKYCRUISER FIRST! Or be in line at the end of the day when they close the lines . . . they will close the lines to all the rides 15 minutes before the park closes. The line for this ride will be OUTRAGEOUS and your kids will see the track up in the sky and demand to ride it.

HAVE FUN!! Wish I was going with you!! My kids love that place!!

When my kids were that age, they preferred Legoland. I know there are some special offers right now. I will see what I can find for you.
