Legoland Closing?

I was on the phone getting some quotes from Disneyland today. I asked about tickets to Legoland. The person I talked to recommended that I hold off...she said they've been hearing talk about Legoland closing!?

Has anyone heard anything about this?

I was just looking at their website this weekend to make plans for our trip in May. They added some new rides recently, so I dont see them closing them altogether. They ARE closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the less busy season, maybe that is what the person was referring to?

Selling the parks maybe, but not closing them.

I asked my friend who works in management at Legoland. All of the Lego parks are currently up for sale. There are NO plans to close Legoland in Carlsbad. They do operate on a 5 day week during non busy times.

what a relief to hear that! i bidded on two tickets at a silent auction and won (from my kids school for fundraising). now i have to get myself to go (sigh).
