Legoland - any good?

We are thinking of going away ASunday and Monday and I wondered if Legoland comes recommended? It will just be my wife and I, no kids! There is an offer for 2 days entry plus a hotel a few miles away for £115. That sounds quite good as buying just tickets would cost you £122 for 2 for 2 days entry!

Would there be enough to do for 2 days?

Thanks

We live a couple of miles away and had APs for a few years, but we never went without the children. Unlike Disneyland, I can't recall ever seeing couples there without their kids - it's just not THAT interesting to adults. We don't go anymore as my children outgrew it - it's main appeal is to younger children.
Of course, everyone is different and you may well enjoy it. If you do go I would tell you that we never went 2 days in a row, even with APs. We always left a few weeks inbetween visits.

Thanks for that, I think we'll give it a miss.

We are supposed to be saving money anyway!

I agree with Hildasmuriel, it's a beautiful place to go with young children and I love the atmosphere but I haven't been since our eldest turned 13.

I agree with all so far Steve, Its a great little park if you have children, we went when Vicki was smaller but I couldnt imagine going there without kids:goodvibes

Deffo don't go without kids, DH, me, my mom and dad went a few years ago and there really wasn't anything that interested us except for the gardens. And from what I remember the food was V expensive and not all that good!

Sorry I would have to agree with the others. We went a few weeks ago as our DS had been wanting to go for years. It was very nice and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to people with smaller kids but at 11 he was probably at the very top of the suitable age range and it isn't really for people without kids at all. The food was very expensive (£20 for a burger, chips and coke for 3 of us and one of those was a kids meal) and not that nice. But having said that it does have a Cinnabon stall at the entrance which definately made it worth the trip for me :)
