Legoland and Knotts Qs

Hi All!

We will be going to DL/DCA from 12/8 through 12/15/04. We plan to go to Knotts and Legoland too.

My questions are:

Would it be better to go to Legoland on Saturday or Sunday (taking into account traffic and crowds at the park). Would Knotts be more crowded on Saturday or Sunday?

We will probably only rent a car for the days we go to Knotts and Legoland so we need to hit those parks 2 days in a row.

Would the traffic to Carlsbad from Anaheim be better on Saturday or Sunday? Since Legoland opens at 10:00 a.m., I figure we would leave the DL area around 8:30 or 8:45 a.m.

We are probably staying at the Residence Inn in Garden Grove, if that makes a difference.

My main consideration would be what Disneyland Resorts hours and showtimes are like. If perhaps things like fireworks, fantasmic, Electric Parade, Christmas festivities are only offered on weekends - that would be a no brainer.

If DLR is in full swing 7 days a week during that time period, I would go to LL on the weekend and forgo the DLR weekend madness.

Legoland is closed 2 days during the week during non-holiday periods. Keep this in mind when making plans.
