We are going to Southern CA next June and would like to visit the legal and for the first time. I have a few questions:

(1)how's the weather like in June for water park?
(2) do we need more than 1 day to visit the main park?
(3) we will be coming from Anaheim after visiting DL, any hotel suggestion in the legoland area?

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks.

Personally, I think the weather in June is cold for the water park. But you come from colder weather, so you might think differently ;) Highs are usually in the high-60's in June. Towards the end of June, you might see high temps that are in the low 70's.

We did the park in one day (10:00 - 6:00), but went on a Monday during off season. I suppose it might be harder to do if it were really crowded, but I still think it can be done.

The West Inn and Suites is a very popular place to stay. The Sheraton Carlsbad has it's own private entrance into Legoland. I'd check both out and see what better suits your needs.

Have fun!

1) I would look up the historical weather as I don't know. I have been here in April (too cold) and then in July and August perfect for swimming.
2) no, one day is enough if you get there early and spend the entire day there.
3) We stayed at the Homewood Suites. We really liked this hotel and it has a free hot breakfast buffet also.

I wanted to add one more tip as far as restaurants go. We ate at the Claimjumper restaurant. This place has really good food and is right when you first get into town. I highly suggest this restaurant and hotel.

Enjoy your trip:)

We were there in June this year on a VERY HOT day. Everyone was playing in the kids splash area and fighting for shade so it is possible.

Cannot recommend hotels as we travelled from DL and back on the day but you can most certainly do it in one day.
