By far my best Black Friday deal was scoring $100 Lego sets for half off at Barnes and Noble this morning. All educational toys ar 50% off, limit one per customer.

I ended up making a return visit to the store a few hours later for some more.

I just checked and this deal is available online as well. There are no actual Lego "sets" but some Lego items and all other educational toys they have are there too. Didn't see anything I wanted but thought I would mention it in case someone else wants to look.

Thanks for the tip. I was able to get an awesome Erector set for my son's February birthday. Their original price was in line with other retailers so I am thrilled!

The coupon is applied auomatically. I just got DS the Kre-O Optimus Prime Transformers set for $37.42 shipped ! B&N price was a little higher but after the 50 % off & free shipping I still saved quite a bit & I always use mypoints which I use for gift cards for us during the year. Not a bad deal at all

I didn't see the Star Wars Advent Calendar, but I wasn't looking for it either. There were lots of Star Wars sets, Pirates, Atlantis, Lego City, and a few other sets I can't remember.

I think the sale runs all day.

I'm trying to buy something and choosing a toy that has the 50% off logo but I'm not getting the discount I've tried a couple different toys just to see if it's working and none of them are showing the discount.

I did go to the store this morning though and get one of the toys DD wants. What a great deal! Now if only I could get this online thing to work!

I went to 3 different stores in the area and they did not limit to 1 toy. I bought as many as I wanted for 50% off and had the b&n membership and saved an additional 10%. I saved about 58% off. The great thing is that B&N does not mark up the legos like toys r us does. I got the larger sets Millenium Falcon $68.43, Kingdoms Kings castle $48.86, Ninjajo temple #2507 $58.17, Star wars republic frigate $58.17. The prices were outstanding.

Didn't work for me. I tried the Millenium Falcon & no discount applied. It worked before but not today.

Big thank you to the OP. Went Friday night and got the big star wars frigate for my nephew. Then went on-line and got a Melissa and Doug castle dollhouse for my niece. Best of my deals so far.
