Where is best place to get Harry Potter Lego Castle? Some others got it at Borders with coupon but my Borders did not carry it.

The best deal I have seen (without a coupon) is at Target: $129.99

If you pay with their card, you save an extra 5%.

If you are a Borders Reward member, you get the best deal right now. With the 40% off coupon, comes out quite often right now, I got the Harry Potter castle for about $100. I bought it last week using the 40% off coupon.

Thanks for the info. I tried Borders but none in our local area even carry the castle or any HP lego for that matter. They do have lego sets but smaller ones.

I haven't seen any deals on it lately. I ordered it from Toys R Us online when they were running the buy 2 get 1 free Lego sets. At that time, they were still a pre-order, but they were included in the sale. I got all of the large Harry Potter sets this way.
I would just keep checking online to see if anyone has a Lego sale between now and Christmas.

I'm in the same boat as you! None at my Borders. Here's hoping we find another way to score a good deal! pixiedust:

We were at DTD/WDW the end of October and the lego store there only had the train set in stock. I ended purchasing the castle last week for $129 at Target. I was hoping for a better price, but everywhere we looked, it was soldout, backordered, or priced higher. I was afraid it might be impossible to find for Christmas.

Amazon had it for $116 and I bought it at that price, but I noticed it's now gone up to $129.99. What a way to rip off customers for the holidays.

Unfortunately our Borders doesn't carry a lot of Legos . It is also about 30 minutes from my house. I usually find that the money I would spend in gas in my big Expedition driving into town , I save by staying home home and shopping online. I can usually find, free shipping and sometimes a % off. I figure if I can save tax and shipping I am ahead of the game on the Harry Potter stuff this year.

Last year (and the year before) on Thanksgiving weekend, the Lego website offered a discount if you ordered a certain amount of merchandise. I think it was 10% off an order of $100, 20% off an order of $200, 30% off an order of $300. Orders over $99 will qualify for free shipping, and if you live in a state where there is not a Lego store, you will not be charged tax.

Not sure if they will do this again, but it's worth looking into.

Sorry I'm not able to help with your question, but just wanted to share my bargain find. I found the original Harry Potter castle set, which looks pretty much like the one out now (is it the same?) for $4.00 at a garage sale this summer! What a deal!

Search for a Barnes and Noble coupon code and order it from barnesandnoble.com. I forget the exact prices but it was slightly marked down (My Mom bought it for ds and I-I'm a potter fanatic!) and then she used the coupon on top of that, I believe. She got Hogwarts Castle for around $100 and Hogwarts Express for a little less than that.
