leftover credits

We are a party of 13. My family (5 of us) will be the only ones staying the whole last day. (Everyone else flies out early Saturday morning, we fly out early Sunday morning.) We are all on the DDP.

If the remaining 8 party members still have CS or snack credits remaining, would my family be able to use them on that Saturday the others have left?

I can't imagine that you're all staying in the same room, so your snack and CS credits won't all be pooled together. The extra credits will be on the KTTW cards of the other party members who aren't there and you wouldn't be able to use their credits.

There are a few ways to work it so you have credits left on your card and they leave with no extras, but it may be more hassle than it's worth.

Can they leave their cards with us? They would not need them at all that day.

Maybe hard doing it, but us their card as much as possible and then switch to yours. May take some planning, but so has the changes in 2008 dinner plan.

Couldn't they just use their cards and pay any tips OOP? They will be valid until Saturday at midnight, right?

Sure... but you'd need their KTTW cards. Assuming you are close enough to your family that they trust you with their cards (if they had room charging priv. set up), then it's not really a problem.
