Left something on the ship

If you left something on the ship in your stateroom will they send it back to you? Does it take a long time? Who do you call?
My makeup bag was left and I am trying to decide if it is worth the trouble to get it sent- or just buy new stuff. Some of it was expensive stuff

Contact DCL either through your TA, or directly and they will check with the Lost and Found for things left behind for that cruise date. It is probably there waiting for you...
I ended up with someone's disposable Kodak camera on the 2004 10-day holiday cruise but did not realize it until after the film was developed. I took the original owners' pictures with me on the May Repo cruise and gave them to Guest Services to track down and give to the family...Cute little girls... Pixie dust is their specialty...

We left a stuffed animal behind when we stayed at the Wilderness Lodge, didn't even realize it until it came in the mail one day with a cute note attached to it. I'm sure DCL would do the same. moet

I also left my make-up bag behind in the cabin but realized it before we left the ship (after breakfast). I ran back to the cabin but it had already been cleaned out and when I asked the room steward he said stuff like that they throw out, thinking people do not want it (i.e., like when people leave mostly empty shampoo bottles behind so they don't have to pack them).

I was out of luck but maybe you will have better luck than me.

DD left her GameBoy Advance on the ship and did not notice until we arrived home a week later!

I called Lost & Found and left a message - they called back a few days later and had found it! They mailed it to our house (in Canada) free of charge.
