I have been out of touch for a few weeks so excuse me if this has already been discussed. (Of course, some would say that I am always out of touch :p )

I made reservations through DC earlier in the year for our trip the first week of Dec.

I started visiting various Disney sites regularly and was excited to see when the new codes would come out so I could rebook at a cheaper rate.

Imagine my disappointment when I discovered that ASMo would not be participating. I have not called CRO or DC to try to rebook because there doesn't seem to be any point.

I am sure my 5yr old would love movies better that AS Sports or Music.

I'm still new to this, so do y'all think there is a chance ASMo will give in before Dec. or should I just be greatful I am going in the value season and grin and bear it?

We have always stayed at the ASMo when we stayed at a value until last Dec. I waited too late and did not get the cheap rate at the ASMo and had to stay at the ASMu.
I thought my 5 YO DD who is obsessed w/ Buzz Lightyear would be disappointed so I told her we were staying at the Beauty and the Beast Building at ASMu. Sure enough, since it is towards the back and not requested a lot, we got the "Beauty and the Beast" a.k.a. Broadway.
She was a happy camper!
I was quoted $74.00 (or $77.00) per night w/ DC discount at ASMo. We are staying at WL this time but the $49.00 per night at the ASMu is pretty hard to pass up.

I've never seen Movies go to the deep AP and code discounts like Sports and Music.

Don't hold out - if you want the discount, get it now.

We've stayed in both Music and Movies this year with little ones (husband's grandkids once and nieces once) and they were equally impressed. The price difference without the discount seems fairly great especially if you're staying several nights. You can always go visit Movies, it's a short walk across a parking lot.
