We are planning a special evening with parents only while the 16yo nannys. Which would you suggest?

Both are excellent, but of the two i'd pick Chefs de France. Saying that, i'd still go to Alfredo another day for my Tagliatelli Alfredo hit

I've never been to Alfredo's, but love Chefs de France. I figure I can get Italian/Mexican/Chinese food anywhere. Not so with French food.

If your thinking of french food and a special evening, think about Bistro De Paris. You won't regret it. Incredible!

We enjoy both, but if I could only pick one it would be Chefs. I LOVE the French Onion Soup and Ice Cream Puffs!!

We ate at the Bistro once. And it was VERY good, as expected. But the menu was limited and really we thought the food at Chef's was just as good. For the price difference, the food quality just was not that much different, from our experience.
DH still mentions he is just as happy at Chef's -- and he can cut his own food on his plate! (They cut our meat for us at Bistro.)
