LeCellier still mmmmmmm

dh, me, dd (13), and ds (10he ordered off the kids meal)
We went for lunch yesterday and it is still one of my favs( I'm glad I didn't cancel the ressies when the menu changed, we have another ressie for Wednesday). Dh and I got the mushroom filet with the cream cheese mashed potatoes. It was so nice and smooth and creamy. The steak was very tender and juicy. I picked the mushrooms off of mine. No one said a word while we ate it was that good. Dd got her filet and mashed potatoes with a butter sauce (she is allergic to gluten) and she gobbled her's up faster than I have seen her eat all week. I had the smores for dessert and it was yummy as usual, dd had the creme brulee and said it was the best thing she ever ate. Dh had the cheesecake and was mmmm through the whole thing. We were told if you can substitute anything that comes with another entree. Chef Albert was the best when he came out and talked to dd about what she wanted.

sounds like you really enjoyed your meal - we've never had a bad steak there and i love the creme brulee myself!

When we were down there the fillet was served with a mushroom rice mixture. I thought it was very good but I never had the potatoes. The potatoes that came with the strip nobody liked. They didn't go away hungry though.

The smores are a 2 cookies that has ice cream in between and there is a stick sticking out of them with 2 marshmallows with sprinkles on them. We are going tomorrow again and I'll try to take a picture of them. I haven't taken any pictures of the food because dh keeps hogging the camera.

The mushroom filet sounds just devine and I cant wait to order it next week at LeCellier... I am still torn on the dest I will order - gald you had a nice meal...

Have ADR for Lunch, but can't decide between LaCellier and ESPN Club..Older kids would probably just be interested in LaCelliers burger....Don't think they will be interested in steak for lunch, although the Smores would certainly be appealing to them!

Heard the burger only offered for Lunch is quite good....Think though that
ESPN might have more choices for the kids though...Heard appetizers like
nachos and wings are pretty good at ESPN!
