LeCellier - Menu Change

Hi all - I don't remember hearing anything about this, but since I spent the last two weeks traveling........DL and WDW

We ate at LeCellier for lunch on Sunday 4/15 and they had a new menu that started that day. I didn't see an update on allears or wdwinfo menus.

Anyway it was good, but I'm starting to wonder if I imagined it??

We had lunch at LeCellier on Wed 4/11 and it was the same menu as Allears. When I commented that I missed the French Dip the waitress said they were changing the menu later that week!

It was fabulous btw, I will try and write my reviews later this week.

I hope they didn't get rid of the open faced steak sandwich. That is what I was going to order in June!!

Keep in mind, allears only posts updated menus when they receive them from readers or when one of their staffers has a chance to eat at a given restaurant.
WDWinfo is more likely to be able to get an updated menu sooner - some of the staffers live in the Orlando area - but again, if they don't know there's a new menu... there's a link on the menu page http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/diningmain.cfm#disneydining that says "If you do not find a particular menu, please email us and we will get the menu for you". So I suppose if somebody e-mails them and asks....

Here's what I can remember. On lunch sunday 4/8 the waitress let us know that they had a menu change. They repeatedly asked how things were, what we thought etc.

The shrimp dish was NOT on the menu anymore what I had instead was a scallop, shrimp and mussel dish with couscous. YUMMY although I don't like mussels but the shrimp and scallops were more than enough and the couscous fabulous.

My sister had a beef and noodle dish which she also enjoyed.

They still had of course the cheese soup, a duck appetizer..........ugh I'm trying to visualize the menu! I'm sorry that's all I can recall.

Maybe they are slowly introducing the new menu based on the feedback they recieve?

I was there Wednesday April 11, I had cheddar soap for appetizer, my dh had beef and barley soup. I saw the shrimp appetizer. I was going to order the salmon, but the lady next to me was eating it and she left over half on her plate. Her dd order shrimp pasta and she didn't eat it either. The dad ate his wife's and dd's meal. The son had a child's meal, I didn't see what he was eating.

When a new family sat down next to us, the family all had salad and one salad could have fed all 4 of them. It was a Ceasar Salad. I heard the dad order the Serloin Steak.

We had the tenderloin with mushrooms, and for dessert I had the creme boulee' sampler and my dh had the shorbet'.

So from what I remember, I didn't see any changes.
