I remember some years ago seeing/reading/hearing something about a place at either (or both?) MGM or Epcot where you can pay to have a photo/message/name permanently placed somewhere. At Epcot I feel like it was a photo and at MGM I feel like it was a brick or something in the ground. Does anyone recall? Does it sound familiar to anyone else or am I  ?

If you HAVE heard of it and know the name/details/info--please let me know?
TIA

You used to be able to leave a brick at MK, but they stopped that program a few years ago. Now, you can do Leave a Legacy at Epcot with either words or a picture. I believe the cost is $35, but you get a discount if you have an AP.

Its not a matter of needing to "recall"... its still GOING ON at Epcot.
"Leave a Legacy" will place a photo or small message in the form of a small stainless steel reproduction as part of a larger "scupture" array the stands inside the front gate area of Epcot.

The "BRICK" program is completed (no more bricks being sold).
It is at the MK/TTC area.
There are thousands of individual paving bricks with peoples/families names and dates on them near MK and TTC.

How does one do this? Can it be done if you're not THERE or do you have to be in the park to arrange it?

I'm pretty sure you have to be there, but I'm not 100% sure. I'd call Customer Service and ask.

i remember at one time (on the monorail VO) the guy mention the bricks wrapping all the way around the 7 seas lagoon. guess that didn't happen...I have a Brick!!! The west family from virginia ....you'll never find it.

This past november we did leave a legacy in Epcot,,,yes it was $35 for two kids pictures on it.

I do remember the CM telling me that you can do it from home. You take your own picture and they will do the rest. Call customer service and I am sure they will help you

I thought it was a cool thing to do. I wish I had done the brick in MK though!

They're still doing bricks at Disneyland in California. They're installing them in the esplanade between Disneyland and California Adventure. You can also get an acrylic or wooden replica of your brick, complete with whatever you had engraved on it.

I purchased one but it hadn't been installed yet when I was there in October. It has since been put in place and I'm looking forward to going back again to see it and take pictures.

I saw that they were doing the bricks in DLR, and they have them in WDW and DLP as well. I must go and check them out in Tokio and Hong Kong too. Then I have the set.

There's one Ive been keen to find in California I haven't got to see yet, but I'm working on it, I ain't going to let a little setback get in the way.

Cheers Larry.
