Leaving tomorrow

I am soooooooooo excited, we are leaving tomorrow, Just hope I have everything... We are looking forward to just resting around the FW, maybe take in a couple of the parks but this is our first trip in over 28 years and no kids... well they are coming down for one weekend, but the rest of the time just me and DH... YIPEE... so if you some middle aged crazy people on the golf carts yep that will be us... LOL... hope to see some of you there...

I'm excited for ya, how long are you staying ? I'm an over-packer, I always pack so much stuff we never use, my tt already is over-packed and we don't even leave for a month. When ever my dd got married and we started going on vacation just me and my dh, it felt so weird...my dd will be going with us on our wdw trip in april though ( without her dh, he hates everything disney...go figure ) so I can't wait. I'm especially excited for this trip, it's our first time to FW so it puts a new spin on things...
Oh ya, word on the street is : stay away from their pizza

Oh ya, word on the street is : stay away from their pizza

I'm kinda nervous about writing this (If I'm not already, I'll be labelled Pollyanna CottontailCurl!!); this is the 2nd time in 2 days something has been written about their pizza, is something going on? Did someone mention something that happened to them? The main reason I'm asking is because getting their pizza at least once each trip is a tradition of ours. One year, though, I recommended the pizza to a group who was waiting on the porch with us. Told them how we always get one because it's a good pizza at a good price. That year, however, the pizza crust appeared to be one of those cardboardy pre-made things and the pizza was horrible!! I had recommended it and I felt really bad! This past trip, we decided to give it a try again and I was really happy to get a pizza made with a 'real' dough, what I would call a New York style pizza with slightly raised crust, it was much much better than last time. (Wanted to mention also the pizza was the same as what we had at the window between the ESPN zone and the Boardwalk, same good flavor, same real pizza dough, same box with Mickey and friends on the outside but it cost about $5 more at the Boardwalk!)

Now, I haven't EVER tryed their pizza but over the course of last year people have commented on how the pizza has just went down hill..it was suppose to have been really really good at one point and I guess just went bad as of last year . To be honest with you I don't know if we will be trying pizza on our trip in april...heck we eat pizza here all the time so it's no real treat for us. You know seriously I think sometimes it's just the frame of mind your in when eating because we were at a buffet place last night eating and it was SO good, and I heard the table over from us say " this food is just gross ", I starting laughing because that's just life different strokes for different folks...if your at FW and hankering some pizza I say don't be afraid to go for it !
Hehehe, I love Polyanna, it one of my favorite DVD's that I own..and I'm by no means a child anymore

Pizza was always one of our traditions as well. The first night we always had their pizza. Our last trip in April of 2006, not one, but all of us thought the pizza was terrible. Not even close to what they used to have. We did give them our opinion on it and they just said that they are always trying new things. Well this one wasn't working. I hope that by the time we go again this October that someone will report that it has improved. O

Oh, and by the way, have a great trip! Wish it was us, just a few more months.
