Leaving Tomorrow - O.O have a ?

First, a HUGE thank you to the members of this board. I found your guys very recently and I must say I have SOAKED up all the info you guys have to offer. I have been a member of MiceChat since it began in 2005 and although it is a great community they don't like to talk much about how to actually visit the parks the best way as to what is going on inside them. The info you guys have given me will probably save my vacation (a first trip for my father, 53; my husband, 29; and my daughter, 5)

I just have one question I am hoping someone out there can answer for me. We are planning on using our MM this sunday. And while I know its going to be nightmarishly busy we just want to hit the fantasyland rides. So my three questions are: 1) should we still line up at the security checkpoints if security isn't there yet or just proceed to the turnstiles to line up? 2) how will we know which turnstile to line up at? and 3) We are currently planning to be in line by 6:30, should we line up sooner? And can we bring our breakfast with us to line up the turnstiles or do we have to consume it before the security checkpoints?

I know weird questions... but any help would be much appreciated.

Yay! Have fun on your Disney vacation!

1. Yes, line up for security even if there is no one there. They will make everyone go through security even if they are already at the turnstiles. So hang out by the security tables.

2. There will be signs above each turnstile. Look for the ones labeled "Magic Morning". If unsure, ask a CM. I saw lots of people lining up in front of turnstiles marked "entrance" last time. They ended up way back in the Magic Morning line.

3. You can have food at the security tent, in line at Disneyland, in Disneyland, and even in the line for a ride. Just not on the ride. So grab some breakfast and go over your plans while waiting. And I know it is real early, but I would try to be in the security line at 6:20am. This is just based on how crazy the lines have been and my own experience with Magic Morning over a week ago. Promise everyone a nap in the afternoon when it gets hot and crowded in the parks.
