We are leaving in the morning from Massachusetts and will be at WDW by early afternoon. All I've been thinking about for weeks are the heavenly dipped strawberries at the Candy Cauldron. Love, love, love these little buggers. Anyone have a don't miss favorite goodie that we HAVE to try??? I can feel my waistband getting tighter already........

The world-famous "Dole Whip".
(Fresh Pineapple smooth-blended into softserve vanilla ice cream.)

The ONLY place to find one is at the "Aloha Isle" serving counter in MK.

Its located just after you enter Adventureland from the Hub.
Its just before you reach the entrance to the "Swiss Family Treehouse."
If you reach the Treehouse (on your LEFT), you just "walked PAST" the Dole Whip stand across the walkway a bit behind you.

AND, I must admit a passion for the "Mickey Bar".

Its a frozen ice cream bar, but it is THE BEST I've ever eaten.
(Frozen extra-rich vanilla ice cream shaped like a "Hidden Mickey" and dipped in the FINEST dark chocolate).

And (unfortunately) THESE little treasures can be found ANYWHERE thoughout WDW.

My favorite snack are the roasted almonds. There are stands of them all around the parks, they seem to be getting popular. They are roasted and coated in cinnamon & sugar... *drools*. Very yummy! :thumbsup2

I also love those pretzels in Germany.. I could eat them for the rest of my life!! ;)

I also am a fan of Mickey Bars.Another favorite is School Bread in Norway.Where is the Candy Cauldron? Is it at DTD? :)

I find that if you walk with a fast stride to the Candy Cauldron, then that should work off your snack by the time you get there. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. :rolleyes1

My kids and I are looking forward to waffles from Kringla Bakeri og Cafe in EPCOT. Last summer we toured Norway, and had their waffles. They are eaten as a snack with strawberry jam. We bought quite a few on our ferry rides through the fjords. We hope the ones at EPCOT are the same as the ones last summer, and will be a nice reminder of our vacation last summer.

Caramel Corn - Sleepy Hollow in Magic Kingdom
Twirl Cadbury chocolate bar - UK in Epcot
Creme Brulee - the bakery in France
Dole Whip - Aloha Isle in MK
Giant Sugar Sticks - anywhere you find Goofy's candy
Ice Cream - Ice Cream Parlor across from Cassy's Corner (can't remember name)
Funnel cakes, churros, chocolate covered bananas, chocolate covered strawberries, I could go on and on all day...

Try the Strawberry Swirl at the Enchanted Grove between Fantasy and Tomorrow lands at MK. It is near the tea cup ride. My "savory" must-have is a hotdog from Casey's at MK.

Oooh....a list I can really sink my teeth into lol. My sister is going to lose her mind when I tell her we've been missing chocolate at Epcot all this time. She's a chocolate freak. When we travelled to Europe a couple of years ago, ate so much Cadbury chocolate it was unbelievable. The creme brulee at France is my favorite dessert in all the parks. I get that one a couple of times during my trip.

Never had the Strawberry swirl thing the last poster wrote about. Is that like a Dole Whip?

Okay, I think I'm the only person I know that has never tried the Mickey bar. They must be good because people rave about them. I just get all crazy with all the choices and never get around to that one lol. I will add it to my must have list for sure.

Thanks all...
