Leaving tomorrow for 7 nights at the WL. After so much planning I still can't decided which park to go to on which day! Any advice? I was thinking of doing MK on Sat. or Sun. Anyone know of crowds those days? I was hoping they would be light because of people checking out? How about BB. Are the locals going this early in the season on a weekend? Any help would be great. Thanks! These boards have been great. It has been a lot of fun using them every day!

The Magic Kingdom is ALWAYS busy on Saturdays. I would pick another park for Saturday. Sundays are a little bit better at the Magic Kingdom. I believe Sunday is the biggest check in/out day.

We usually go in the fall, but Animal Kingdom is pretty good on the weekend and Epcot is so large that it is usually a safe bet, too. Parks usually clear out on Monday or Tuesday when we've been down, then pick up again by Thursday afternoon.

Have a great time!:wave2:

I'd save MK for weekday... weekends are always busy as in Monday it seems.

OK--correct me if I'm wrong experts, but I'm pretty sure the Unofficial Guide to WDW says that Saturday is actually one the LEAST crowded days at MK--due to the weekly vacation folks using that day to check in/check out

The MK was the most crowded park last Saturday.

I would go to MK on the Sunday. It's less crowded then than on Saturday.

When planning which day, its a good idea to take parades and fireworks into consideration too. For instance, this coming week, the SpectroMagic parade and Wishes fireworks are only being shown Saturday and Tuesday. We're going to go Tuesday in the hopes that with it not being the weekend it will a little less crowded.;)

We are not early risers so we rarely do the early entry. I try to avoid going to the early entry park. The crowds always seem heavier on those days.

Don't forget that you are going to be there for the extra magic hours test period. I also go tomorrow.
Epcot will be open till Midnight for on site guests on Sunday night and E ticket nights are available for MK for tomorrow and for Sunday as well as other days next week so you need to factor those things into your plans.

I would stay away from MK on weekends, unless you're going for a second time during your trip. Rule of thumb if you have smaller kids, don't go to MK to early in your trip as this is usually the park that they will have the most fun at. Break 'em in slowly and build up to first visit at MK.

On a day that a park has Early Entry, don't go to that park.

I would suggest going to AK on a Sunday. AK gets very hard to move around when it is crowded, and Sunday's are usually a less busy time in the world in general.

I would go to Epcot on Saturday, do AK on Sunday, MGM Monday, and MK Tuesday. If you didn't want to wait for MK so long, Epcot Saturday, MGM Sunday, MK Monday, AK Tuesday. Going to MK on Monday might allow you to see SpectroMagic as well.

It's hard to say what the best strategy is. It more or less is trial and error depending on the season. You just never know.

Have Fun!!
