Leaving this Friday

We're leaving this Friday afternoon -- driving down so we arrive on Sunday afternoon. Does anyone else get stressed out in the last few days before a vacation? I seem to have so much to do and the time is just ticking away (which is a good thing but....). Everything seems to have been moved to this week for some reason especially work wise. Nothing was happening the week I had planned to be away and now everything is so it all has to be done this week. Ugh. Plus my Dad decided that this would be a good week to come into town -- he lives in Winnipeg and we are in Thornhill so we don't see much of each other so one night is going out for dinner with him and my DS. I'm glad he's coming this week rather than next week when I would have missed him but now have to do laundry and pack another night. I keep telling myself to take a deep breath and relax that everything will get done. Oh, plus my Aunt is arriving on the 21st and staying til Halloween so the house has to be clean for when she arrives. I usually try to leave things neat but now they have to be neat b/c if they aren't she'll clean them and I won't be able to find anything when I get home!!!! I guess the bottom line is that in one week I'll be at WDW!!!!!!!

Thanks for the best wishes -- I'm feeling calmer this morning. We went shopping for goodies last night which is always fun. The only problem today is that the clothes dryer doesn't seem to be drying too well but we can always hang out the clothes to dry so that doesn't concern me too much. At least laundry was started yesterday and not Thursday night!!!


Limmer - maybe we will see each other. That would be neat.

Just counting the days now and getting more excited. Need the vacation.

I find that we are always busy the week before we go on vacation. Do I have this? Do I need to buy that? Buying money etc is alot of work. This week is going to be busy for us too!

I definately need the vacation although everyone thinks we are nuts for going back to WDW since we were only there in April! It was actually kinda funny the other night b/c I was talking to my DS who is 16 and who is not going b/c he had no interest in going. He didn't realize it was coming up so soon. His best friend was standing there and asked where we were going and my DS replied "Disney World" in this totally disgusted, I'm 16 and everything is boring voice. His best friend said that well if we were going again could he come with us -- my DS then says "well, ask me next time you go and I'll probably say yes". Wonderful how peer pressure can work. It appears that we might take both of them next time which would be great. They are good kids and we have vacationed with both before so I know there will be no problems.

I'll be wearing a lime green ribbon so maybe we'll run into each other Limmer -- we don't have any definite plans yet except that we are spending 2 days in the parks and 1 day each at TL and BB. I think we are going to a water park on Monday although we haven't decided which one yet.

Laundry is done. Most of the shopping is done so I'm feeling more prepared than I was on Monday. Work is under control too which is nice.
