Yes got soaked, just came out of American Idol when it started, just after 2pm.
Have a safe flight home, I am sure you won't be far off your next trip.

Ate at Olive Garden with friends tonight, only eaten at LBV location before and wasn't impressed but this one near The Loop was a lot better, unlimited salad bowl and bread sticks, I had Seafood Portafino, Karen had Lasagna and Matt had chicken parm, 3 sodas $48 then back to friends house for a while not too late though as they are going on Disney magic tomorrow for a week.

We're not out til November... but at least it gives me plenty of time to plan!!

Had the back lot 'strimmed' down today, so we can see the lake and I can hear our gator grunting tonight ! ... can't decide whether he's happy at all the new open space or mad?? LOL

Anyway, have fun at MK tomorrow... we're hoping to finish the game of golf we started today!! Fingers crossed.

Sounds like it's all going to plan up to now - apart from the weather that is. Is it normal to rain this much at this time of year - we were there this time last year and never had a drop so don't know if we were lucky or you are unlucky.

They have a low pressure 'hanging' over the Gulf of Mexico, which is causing all this rain! They hadn't had a drop of rain for at least three weeks, but we've had 2 feet of rain in the Disney area since Monday!

Ate at new Sweet Tomatoes LBV tonight, not sure about the property, it was like eating in a warehouse, not the same homely feel like the other up Idrive but the food was excellent, more choice at this location like steamed veg which was really nice, fresh & crunchy. I had chilli soup, karen had chicken soup which must have been good as she had 2nd bowl of instead of ice cream. Ice cream was Eddys soft serve, dark choc, vanilla or swirl. Had buy one get one free voucher so cost was $29 for 3 of us incl 3 sodas.
Not sure if Idrive location has increased prices or its just new one but $2.69 for soda is a bit high compared to elsewhere.

Hi Jeanette.
Had some great sunshine today but also down pours as well. This evening after coming out of Sweet Toms it was torrential for about 1 hour. Causing so much damage in some areas.
Started getting busy today for memorial weekend, traffic tonight was mad, 30 mins to get out of Crossroads to DTD so decided to give parks a miss tomorrow go Geocaching around Celebration, lots of new caches been hidden we want to find. Also a trip to Prime outlet.

What time were you there?? Mark and I were there at approx 7.30pm!!
Mark actually commented on the venue... said it was like a sports hall!
We totally agree... the food was lovely! I also had the veg chilli soup and Mark had the cream of Chicken.. the highlight for us was the special.... strawberry and apple crumble.....mmmmmmmm
We also used the buy one get one free voucher (in last sunday's orlando sentinel) so cost just $15.90 for the two of us!! A bit cheaper than the $89 last night in Texas de Brazil! Mark is a big meat eater - so Sweet Tomatoes was a great place to try out on him... he loved it!!

I also love my meat, if I can enjoy ST then anyone can. Even Mathew who will not eat salad at home piles his plate from the salad bar.
Not sure it can be beaten for value.

Sorry we missed you! We're playing golf at the Orange National tomorrow with friends who have a house on Windsor Hills. Not sure where we are eating tomorrow night though! Want to put a bit of mulch down at the house and am tempted to buy a new orange tree for the back lot?? So loads to do!!

Enjoy the rest of your stay... we're flying home on monday night. Why does it go so quickly??

Yes - we were getting worried too when we heard you were going shopping.

A trip to Prime for us really means a trip to Disney outlet store, looked in a couple more stores but none of us wanted to so came away. I really do not know how anyone can enjoy shopping.
I bought a Tshirt and that was all today(in pic below)

This morning went to Celebration Geocaching. With it being memorial weekend it was busy so a little difficult searching for caches with so many people around but we found 3 and did a lot of walkin round lakes we never knew existed. One had a baby gator at the side, didn't stay long as no doubt its parents were not far away.
This evening drove down to Manny's in a bad downpour. Really nice steaks, endless salad bowl, bit disapointed with fries(why can't you get proper homemade chips here?) I had 24oz Porterhouse, Matt had 12oz Sirloin, Karen had chicken & Mushrooms, then shared cheesecake, not as big as other pics I have seen but it was enough and really good. incl 3 sodas $58. Isobel server very friendly. Got there 7pm ish no wait, got seat straight away. Definitely somewhere we will go back to another trip.
