My family of 5 will be arriving at the POR on Saturday. I did make a request for a trundle bed, which from what I have read is only available in the AB section. I want to send a fax Thursday and Friday to request a building, does anyone have any suggestions.

Is there a nice area that might be near the pool and/or food court?

Any suggestions and advice would be appreciated.

If you have a party of five you will definitely be in the AB section. You are right in that this is the only section that has a trundle bed.

Also, the resorts are no longer accepting faxes for room requests. They got overwhelmed and now do requests through the reservation only. I would call and note your requests on your reservation.

We really liked Bldg. 15 and/or 18 in the AB Section. Bldg. 14 is very convenient but typically reserved for handicap. You can also note on your reservation that you would prefer to be close to the food court/main lobby area ... or close to a quiet pool. The main pool is in the middle of the property.

I would call first thing tomorrow, though, so they can get your request noted since your arrival date is so close. Have fun!

Have fun! The grounds are so beautiful and relaxing. Be sure to walk the paths at the resort and take the boat to DTD. If you are in the AB section, the rooms are very nice and cozy.

We stayed in building 27 in AB and it was a great location. We also had 5 people w/a trundle! It is so close to both the food and ole man island. For our next trip I requested the same building!
