I am heading to the Magic Kingdom on 2/22 for a one day adventure! In September, we stayed at the CR and were able to ride the monorail nearly everyday. When we go for the day in a few weeks, will I be able to leave the MK for a monorail ride during the day and then come back into the park? I have a one-day base tickets for myself and my daughter. Is there a hand stamp or something we can get to admit us back into the park?

I believe they do something like hand stamp or something that should allow you to re-enter later in the day. Hope you have a great trip.

You should be able to just reuse your tickets as long as you're re-entering the same park you were in to start with.

You will also ride the monorail to the park from the TTC since you are just coming for the day (unless you choose to use the ferry).

It may be different for different types of passes, but I don't think they do the hand stamp anymore because of the finger scanners. When you use your pass to enter the park, they have biometric scanners that you put your fingers in. This enables them to tell who is using the pass and which park they have entered. When you leave MK to ride the monorail, just come back to one of the entry gates and enter the park just like you did the first time. When you enter your ticket and they scan your fingers, they will be able to tell that you were already in the park earlier and you can come on in!

Thanks, I figured that finger scan would have something to do with it. I am staying at POFQ overnight, so I won't be going through the TTC, but on the Disney bus. The park is open pretty late that evening, 11:00 p.m. so I decided to get a room for one night. I just didn't really want to get stuck on the outside looking in! HA!! The parking lot is not a good place to watch WISHES!! :lmao:

I agree that WDW has discontinued the hand stamps. With bio scan there is no longer a need for this. You can come and go as many times as you like as long as it's the same park. Only the park hoppers allow you to jump to other parks on the same day.

I can confirm that there are no longer hand stamps. I guess the finger scans do the same thing. Although last Saturday it didn't seem like they were using the finger scans at AK. People were putting their ticket in and the light would turn green immediately.

Another option would be, after getting off the bus outside the MK,go for a ride on the monorail before entering the park.
