Hello everyone...My GF and I are leaving for WDW on Tuesday. We will have all day Tuesday, Wed, Thurs, and most of Friday. What should we do and when should we do it. Our first trip each, very excited but nervous because we dont want to miss anything. Her birthday is on Wednesday and I want to do something special for her, what do you guys suggest she will be 20. We'll be staying at the Carribean Beach Resort. What restaurants and attractions are a must? Thank you in advance for all of your help.

Since youre staying on property Id first find out when the extra magic hours are for each park and go to those parks on those days so you can get extra time.

personally my mustsees are:

Magic Kingdom!
Jungle Cruise
Pirates
Splash Mountain
Hall of Presidents
Space Mountain
Spectromagic Parade
Wishes Fireworks Show

Disney-MGM Studios!
Great Movie Ride
Magic of Disney Animation
Muppetvision
One Man's Dream (exhibit about Walt Disney)
Rock N Roller Coaster
Tower of Terror
Star Tours (but only b/c Im a SW nerd-its not that amazing compared to other rides)
Fantasmic!

The Animal Kingdom
DINOSAUR
It's Tough to be a bug(inside the tree of life-take some time to look at it too!)
Kali River Rapids
Safari!!!!
Conservation Station

EPCOT Center
Figment's Journey into Imagination ride
Mission:Space
Test Track
Maelstrom

Those are just the things Id definatly not miss-there are a lot more I really love too. Also some of them Ive never seen before I just want to so if they stink dont blame me! lol

Have tons of fun Im sure you will.

EDIT: Ooops I didnt notice the part about her birthday :teeth:
Call your resort in advance and tell them, I have heard they can decorate rooms and things like that. request it if you can. Also tell every restaurant you go to and theyll do something nice for her. Hope this helps.

Hi BlokCaptain, and welcome to the DIS! :)

It sounds like you may want to pick up a guide book and do a great deal of reading here on the DIS. You'll find as many different answers to your questions as there are people, so you need a reference that will help you narrow down your choices according to your likes and dislikes. Since you only have a week before you travel, you might want to pick up Birnbaums as a very (very!) general reference to help you narrow down your choices, then come back to the DIS and do a search on any restaurants, etc, that appeal to you.

It will be impossile not to 'miss anything' in the amount of time you have. Epcot needs two full days to appreciate, Magic Kingdom can easily be a two-day park, MGM can be done in a day, but you'll only see the highlights and a few minor attractions, and AK needs the better part of a full day. You are going during peak season, when it's hot, humid, and there will be daily thunderstorms.

That said, you can do a great deal by taking advantage of Extra Magic Hours, using FastPass, and skipping sit-down meals in favor of counter service (to maximize your touring time). Even with all these time-savers, you will not be able to see it all. Disney is HUGE.

I don't mean to put you off the idea, but it sounds like you're not sure what's in store and it helps a lot to know in advance that you will spend a fair bit of time waiting in lines, you'll be hot, and you won't see it all. I say this only as advise to slow down, enjoy the parks without dropping over from exhaustion, and consider this a trip that will give you the 'Disney bug'. It's almost a guarantee you'll want to return!

thank you so much, all of you have been a big help...the idea about calling ahead so they can decorate the room is awesome, thank you very much guys and gals!!! :wave2: :earsboy:
