Leaving on Leap Day!! - WDW Trip # 6

I LOVE it!! Now I'm stoked about getting mine. I just have to find someone good. The guy that did the one on my foot was horrible, no imagination at all. I have one on my back/shoulder of a four leaf clover. A guy named Hippie did it. He had a foot long incense going and played the air guitar the whole time, but he was awesome. He moved away.

Or maybe he was put away:confused3 !!

:rotfl2: He seems like a cool guy to me! Although it must have taken him FOREVER if he was rocking out on the air guitar!
That sucks about the 1st guy, although at least he didn't totally screw it up!

I really like the guy that did mine - he was really nice, and only spoke when necessary - he didn't try to talk my ear off about random crap the whole time.

 your packet came.

your tattoo is very nice. :thumbsup2

You're going to WDW-THIS MONTH!

Come on Buzz!!! You know you secretly LOVE the toiletries aisle! ;)

Remember, no over packing!! I'm so excited for you!!

I won't, I promise! I've already taken a TON of things off of my packing list, and I'm sticking to the list this time! I pretty much have everything but clothes packed, and so far, it all fits in my carry on bag so I'm doing really good!

25 days!!!

Top 10 Things I'm Looking Forward To On This Trip:

1) Not thinking about work for 11 whole days :cool1:  :dance3:

2) Finally going to play Disney Mini Golf (which, of course, is COMPLETELY different, and WAY better than regular mini golf) :woohoo:

3) Getting up earlier than I do to go to work :rotfl2: Hey, it's DISNEY!

4) Actually making Rope Drop at the MK, even if it's just this one time. At least I can say I've done it :yay:

5) Actually wearing my Crocs so that hopefully my feet won't be killing me after the first day. :faint:

6) Going to the Pirate & Princess Party for the first time princess: and FINALLY getting to meet Captain Jack - even if I have to wait in line for an hour pirate:

7) Arriving early in the morning on Friday and leaving late on Sunday so that we have time to actually walk around the resort and spend time at DTD :thumbsup2

8) Staying at a new resort: POFQ, even though the main pool will be closed for refurb :sad2:

9) NOT being late to anything (if you don't understand, read my TR from October - there's a link in my siggy)

10) I've decided that I'm going to break out of my shell, so to speak, and I'm ordering an alcoholic beverage with every meal, and maybe even some in-betweeners. ::yes::

No work! Work sucks!

That's because you don't have to go home when you are done. Oh, and it's not cold. I've never did this either.

It's a must!!

Take some "no show" socks. I alternated with and without, it really worked. I also alternated shoes. Half day of one, half of another.

Are you dressing up??

Yaaay, more time!!

No we're not dressing up - we were thinking about it but I really don't want to spend the money on a costume. You can get a low cost costume for guys that look decent but the women's costumes look trashy or cheap. So we opted to just wear PotC t-shirts :thumbsup2

So there are officially 15 and 1/2 days left until we leave! The only thing left to pack is our clothes and some of our electronic stuff like iPods and such. I can't believe it's so close!

So it's the day before Valentines Day and I still don't have anything for Lumar :sad2: The problem is that I just don't know WHAT to get him :confused3 He is the manager at Game Stop so getting him video game related items would just be stupid because he can get a discount on anything he wants (except systems - and no, they don't have any Wii's so don't ask!! :rotfl: ) plus he buys himself whatever he wants anyway. I was going to get him (us) a portable DVD player to bring to Disney with us, but he only buys Blu-Ray discs so that would be pointless. I really didn't want to be cheap and take the gift card route but I truthfully don't know what else to do for him. I tried convincing him to make our WDW trip our gift to each other but that didn't work. I already got him surround sound for Christmas, he doesn't need clothes (and who wants clothes for V-day, anyway??).... I just don't know what else to do! Can anyone make any suggestions??

BTW, remember his birthday is March 6 - so I have to go through all of this again right befor we leave so I have something to bring down with me for him. I was thinking about picking up something for him when we get there but that is sooo risky. If he see's something he likes, he is likely to just buy it right then and there.

So on a more depressing note, I found out that my 14 year old cousin (turning 15 on March 13) was sent home from school early last Friday and ordered to stay home under parental supervision for the next 48 hours because she was threatening suicide. :sad1: Apparently, high school is much worse now for freshman that it was 10 year ago when I was in 9th grade. Supposedly since she started school in August, her best friend stopped hanging out with her, her other best friend goes to a private school and they don't see each other anymore, and the guy she was dating (who was 18 BTW!!!!) used her for THAT reason and then broke up with her. I tried to defend the guy, saying maybe he realized what he was getting himself into and what the consequences would be if they continued to see each other...but my sister and brother believe that this guy was just a dirt bag. I'm not one to judge without getting the story from the horses' mouth, but either way, it's pretty messed up. I called my aunt and asked if my cousin could come with me and Lumar to Disney, you know to take her mind off of everything, but my aunt said that because of all of this, she hasn't been doing well in her classes and so she doesn't want to take her out of school for 7 days. :confused3 If it was MY kid, I would be putting their mental health ahead of their school grades (after all, there is always summer school if necessary, right?), but I did what I could. Lumar even offered to pay for her whole trip, but to no avail. I was hoping that she could come because I really feel that it would help her - especially since her birthday is the following week.... but aside from kidnapping her, I don't really have a choice. Hopefully she'll get better soon.

Anyway, thanks for listening to me! If anyone has any ideas for my V-day gift to Lumar, please let me know! I need help!!

That's too bad about your cousin. Kids go through so much. It's important for parents to keep an eye out for them.
