Yeah! :cheer2: :Pinkbounc It is almost here! I can't wait. I have never been to US or IoA before. I have been reading this site for a while and want to thank everyone for their helpful ideas.
Just one or two more questions. I will be staying at Amerisuites. Does the transportation the hotel gives get you there before the park opens? I was given a piece of paper that told me IoA will open early of the 26. Will it be better to walk over there or get a taxi? This last bit of info would be greatly appreciated. :cat:

I'm sorry I'm not familiar with Amerisuites transportation schedule but I did want to wish you a terrific trip! Hope you enjoy Universal. :sunny:

My first trip to Universal my son and I stayed over at the Holiday Inn. We got on the first shuttle over to the park. I thought we would surely be there in plenty of time. Then, we stopped at 2 or 3 other hotels on the way over! We got there before the parks opened, but just barely.

hi, is it easy to walk to Universal, im staying at the HomeWood suites on International Drive, is there clear paths?
Have a great trip!

The Homewood suites on I-drive is kinda a far walk, about a mile, but there are sidewalks. For Homewood, you have to walk back to I-drive, then walk over the bride, then down to the dropoff area where you can take the stairs up to the atrium.

Here is my Amerisuites page.

Here is a picture of the paper from 2005

I stopped at the Amerisuites on my last visit and grabbed the latest paper. I think the price is $10 now, I'll have to check when I get home.

Anyway, it's best to just walk over at 8am and get there early. Since you won't have UEP, you need the early morning advantage of going into the park first.

Cheers for that, but i don't have a clue what that means.Well i dont get the bride, dropoff and atrium. Its probably my lack of knowledge, you see its my first time in Orlando.
Thanks:)

No problem, you'll figure it out when you get there. You may want to drive your car over to the TGIFridays parking lot and walk from there.

I found the paper. The shuttle from the Amerisuites to Universal is complimentary and leaves at 09:15am and 11am. It returns at 05:00pm and 07:30pm. You midas well walk over and get there early. They also have a phone number for USA Transportation Taxi service of (407) 888-9116.

I'm pretty sure its a bridge you would be walking over even though a bride may be more fun.;)
