Leaving Monday - suggestions for MGM PS?

We are on the dining plan now. 3 of the restaurants we have PS for would normally be flat service fees. I have CRT as a lunch now-probably should change to dinner to get money's worth?

At MGM was thinking of 50's prime time or sci fi? I read the menus and looks like similar food. We aren't sci fi people so the atmosphere isn't going to sway us more the food.

We ate at 50's and enjoyed it. Not a sci fi fan. If it is the food, definately go 50's and not sci fi. Have a great trip.

Don't you want to experience Sci fi just once?? We love that place and have since the kids were small. The food has always been good for us. Whereas 50's didn't strike a chord at all. We were hot, tired, and hungry and just didn't get into the whole "rude waiter" bit. Heck, the kids were scared to ask for soda refills and I read a post yesterday that said one family's kid got sent to another table for bad manner not our cup of tea. Give me tasty food and a quiet waiter anyday!! If possible, Mama Melrose is another wonderful MGM choice for either lunch or dinner but I didn't see it on your list. Happy Eating!!

The theming at Sci Fi is so GREAT! We could not take the "rude" server either. We just wanted our food. I think that if I had not been so hot and tired, it may have been more fun. I loved the service and food at Sci Fi. We are doing it again this trip!

I guess I'm the oddball. I loved the 50's Prime Time. The waiter we had wasn't rude to us (Uncle Tommy). In fact, he was great. We were celebrating two birthdays and he had all the customers sign the birthday cards without us knowing it. He made them sign them "Uncle Dave", "Cousin Joe", etc. then he gave the cards to us at the end of our dinner.

My dd's friend didn't eat her green beans and when she asked for dessert he brought her a plate of green beans with cool whip and a cherry on top. We had a great time. Our server made it fun for us.

The 50's is my FAVORITE place to dine @ MGM and is a definite must on each trip. The food has always been great, as has the service.
