this might be a stupid question but do all rental companies leave the airport from the same car park exit? i've found a website with really good directions from mco to wdw and the directions start from the moment you drive out the car park, which is really useful for me and dbf coz we got lost as soon as we exited the carpark last time we went (i completely lost my bearings and we ended up looking at the map in a hooters carpark :rotfl:). i know i'm probably overdoing it a bit with this but it would really help me and dbf get to the magic sooner and i'm just wondering if they come out at the same exit coz the pic on the website has a dollar sign on it. once again i apologise if its a really stupid question lol. Thanks everyone!

I've used Dollar, Hertz & Alamo and I'm sure they were all in the same building - just different levels. Although they do have cars at both terminals as we had to wait one time for our car to be brought across.

The signs are quite good now to follow for either the 417 or Central Expressway (528 is it?) :)

we're aiming for the 417 to avoid the freeway, i'm guessing there will be a lot of traffic on the I4 on a saturday night lol

Most the rental car companies operating in the airport have two garages levels with rental cars, one in the north garage and one in the south garage. Depending which rental car garage you use determines which direction you'll be traveling when you come out of that garage.

Exiting the north garage will send you northbound on the airport access road towards TOLL 528 / Beachline Expressway. You can take that west to I-4 and then I-4 west to Disney. Exiting the south garage will send you southbound on the airport access road towards TOLL 417 / Central Florida Greeneway. Taking the 417 westbound sends you directly to the Disney area.

In either event, if you don't like the direction you're headed, stay LEFT and look for signs that send you back the other way. But if you miss it, both exits put you onto toll roads that head towards Disney!
