Nothing like a last minute trip. :rotfl2: WE are going to be there for three whole days and DH go the dining plan with 1s-1cs-1ts. so chances are we are going to have to pay out of pocket for some meals. Need suggestions.
I know we have res at Capt'n Jacks (never been) and Mama Melrose (never been) for dinner and Whispering Canyon for breakfast. not sure where else to eat or what to pay out of pocket.

Thanks

Breakfasts are generally cheaper OOP than dinners. Are you staying 3 nights? If so, then you are entitled to 3TS meals, and you mentioned 3. Are you looking for another dinner? Where are you staying?

One dinner we enjoyed very much and still may be available was Kouzzina at the Boardwalk. It is very convenient to get there from Epcot or DHS, with the boat or by walking. In fact, no matter where you are staying on property, you could always take your resort bus to DHS and then either walk to the Boardwalk or hop on the boat and go there. Kouzzina was excellent. They serve Greek and Mediterranean food, and the service and atmosphere were wonderful as well.

You may be able to get into one of the Epcot World Showcase restaurants. Some that may be available are San Angel Inn (Mexico), Marrakesh (Morocco) or Nine Dragons (China). Never been to Nine Dragons, but San Angel Inn was very good when we were there in July. Terrific margaritas also! Marrakesh was OK. We thought that the CS in Morocco was much better (Tangierine Cafe). I would highly recommend that one for a CS...the food is excellent and it is also an excellent value on the dining plan, which is a plus for you.

Good snacks for your snack credits are Mickey ice cream bars, cinnamon roll at Main Street Bakery at MK, pastries from Norway at Epcot, pastries from France at Epcot, and dole whip soft serve at MK if you like pineapple.

Other good CS besides the one in Morocco are Cosmic Ray's (MK), and Flame Tree BBQ (AK).

We are only staying 2 nights, but we will arrive around 9am on the first day and not leave till 3 or 4 on the 3rd day so that really = possilby 10 meals and a total of 2 TS and and 2 CS per person. Hence why I need to figure out what else to do.

On your last day, you can go to DTD and eat at Earl of Sandwich or Wolfgang Puck - both CS and not too pricey. If you have snack credits left, you can go make a snack at Goofy's for a treat on your drive home.
Restaurant.com has $25 gc for bluezoo, il mulino and kimonos if you want a nice TS meal...the discount code is SAVORY and you can buy the gc for only $3.
