Not taking our dd's. I am starting to feel really guilty. :guilty: I know we are going to have a great time..........but guilt is settling in.

I took them in March. They can not be out of school right now. I know I am doing the right thing. I hope I start feeling better.

Oh, how well I know the feeling. I leave in three days both the kids are staying home and so is DH. Doing a girls trip :teeth: We went in Sept and they missed 7 days, no way I can pull them out again. Hope the guilts pass for both of us. Have a magical time :wizard:

Girls Girls...you are Moms :thumbsup2 :sunny: :cool1: full time and what a job that is in itself!!! Go have a great time and leave those feelings behind...maybe bring them back the PERFECT Christmas Ornamant to salve those feelings....believe me you DESERVE this trip!!!!! princess: :wave2: :dance3:

I take on dd to her cousins to spend the night tonight before she sets up camp at the grandparents for the week. I am going to have DH drop her off...I'm going to cry. What is so different about them leaving me for a week to go to church camp, coming home for three days and then leaving me AGAIN for space camp for a week???? They left me for almost two weeks this summer so they could have a great time.

I cashed in my Disney Rewards. I told my oldest DD that is she tries to make me feel guilty, she wouldn't get any presents when I get home.

I have 21 hours and I am leaving!!! Must go clean the house!!!

:grouphug:

go have a good time!!!

it is your anniversary trip. Kids aren't (or shouldn't ) be allowed on anniversary trip.

you are celebrating your marriage - not the kids.

besides spending time only with husband or spouse - makes the marriage last longer.

have a great time - you deserve it!!!

I'm taking my first solo trip in January and leaving my boys with grandma. I'll only be gone Thurs-Sun but I know that at some point in the trip I'll be crying like a baby because they are not with me. I hope I can make it.
