Ok so we leave for our wonderful Universal trip in just four days and we are staying at the RPR. This is our first time staying on property and the closer it gets the more nervous and excited I become (can't you tell I babble type when I'm excited). Anyway I need a few questions answered:

1) Where is the Lowes check in at the RPR?

2) What rooms are considered pet friendly? I'm allergic and can't stay in a pet room ( i do have that noted on my reservation).

3) My mom's b-day is ths Friday Aug 31st (the day we arrive!!) and the RPR asked if there were any special occasions. So of course I told them it was her B-day. What will they do for her?

Sorry about the long post but I'm just thrilled about our Universal trip!!!!!!

you lucky thing,I have to wait another 10 months to go back.
The Loews checkin is at the far end of the checkin desk ,they have a sign at it.In the picture you come to the checkin from the left the Loews is at the right of the pic

Not sure but i think tower 2 Lower floor is where the pets are , this is where the pet park is,if you have it noted should not be a problem, ask for a room on upper floor.
Not sure what you get, but just reminded me to call and have mine added to my reservation for next year.

Thanks Rags, hope ,sorry, i know you will have a great time.
Not much of a writer ,but Bubbas Mom threatened me ,so had to make an effort.

Some on here said to fax them a few days before you go.
I did this asking for a room on high floor in tower 1 with a pool view, i got tower 1 floor 5 and a pool view .
Might be wrth doing.
Do not forget to let us know what you got for your mom, they ask what you would like as your welcome gift, we took the beer and nut recommended by Bubbas Mom , and was a lot better than the cookies and milk.

I have the welcome gift of beer and nuts on order!! I will let you know what they do for my Mom's B-day!!!! Maybe I'll write a trip report maybe

We are just back from RPR. We were club level, tower 3, floor 7. Ask for turndown service in the evening. Very nice to come back to clean towels, bed turned down and they leave little gifts. Make sure you find the express check in for members. The line was very long for regular check in and no one was at the express line. Be aware tower 1 is under renovations. We had great service during our entire stay. The rooms are standard hotel rooms, but are not "stuff" friendly. No shelves, cabinets, etc. Be prepared to stay organized and you will be fine. Try to pack in toiletry bags you can work out of. Enjoy!

Just back also - we requested a renovated room in Tower 1 and got it (7th floor). They were working on the 5th floor and working their way down. Never heard a sound until 8:00 am but we were usually on our way out by then.

Nice thing about Tower 1 is if you use the stairwell nearest the park, it's a real short walk to Citywalk and IOA.

Did you make your request at the time of check in or on your reservation? I would love to have a quick walk to IOA! I don't think I have the patience to wait for the water taxi!;)

We where in tower 1 for our stay , and never heard a thing , it was only when i spoke to bookings manager and they said they where working on floor 7 doing reneovations, so would not worry about any noise.

I had requested Tower 1 on our reservation. I requested the renovated room (also Tower 1) at check-in @ 1:00 pm but it wasn't ready until 4:00 pm.

Have fun and make sure you get what you want. If you don't, talk to a manager!

For all the wonderful advice!!!!!! I will report when I get back!!!!:goodvibes
