Hi All--

We have 2 rooms reserved at the GC hotel. I just spoke with the hotel hoping to firm up our room requests, and the CM told me they can't guarantee connecting rooms. I mentioned that the kids will be in 1 room and I can't imagine that they would put them somewhere other than right next to their parents. I'm concerned and wondering the best way to handle this. Is there a chance they may not put the two rooms together???

Also, I've read about early entry to DCA for certain rides (is it Soarin'). Can anyone clear this up for me. I know all about DL MM, but wasn't aware you could get into DCA before opening.

I have scheduled PS for dinners, but figured I would call Disney Dining the day of to schedule lunch ressies depending on our schedule. Besides BB, are you able to get a PS for lunch when calling the same day? TIA!

I heard they line up guests for the GCH somewhere and then take them over to the ride when it is ready. You should bet getting off as the first guests are coming in. I'd ask at the front desk.

Not sure if this works for the GC but whenever we need certain rooms I always call the hotel the evening before my reservation and again the morning of my reservation. Sometimes hotels do room assignments the night before and others do it the day of. Just a thought.

Another question--

I usually just catch a cab from SNA to DL when my daughter and I travel. This year, we'll have 6 in our party. Are there taxi vans or should I arrange private transportation?

When DCA opens at 10:00, they let people (anyone - you don't have to be staying onsite) in at 9:30. The only ride open is Soarin'. In the past we have gotten to the gates about 9:15 and been the first ones on Soarin'. By the time we get off Soarin' it's a little before 10:00 and we wait at the rope drop by GRR and head over to TSMM.

You should be able to. I would think that weekdays will be easier than weekends (not sure which days of the week you'll be there) but you shouldn't have any trouble. Have a back-up plan just in case though. So have more than one restaurant in mind or be willing to eat at a slightly off time in case the restaurant you want happens to be busy.
