Leaving in 13 days, got everything I wanted

I keep reading these horror stories about getting adrs, but I got everything I wanted at my 90 day mark, and have changed things several times and keep getting all the places and times I want. Am I just getting lucky? or is it possible July is going to be kind of slow?

Thats great! We were there earlier this month and I was able to get all kinds of places at the last minute...for weeks 50's Prime Time was booked solid for dinner, the night before we wanted to eat there I called and I got a 7pm time...I was shocked!

Either people are cancelling or Disney keeps some spots open last minute, whatever it was I was very happy!

It's most definitely not slow in July. We went last year in July and it was packed.

Congrats on your ADR's.....I managed to get all of mine as well but it took a fair bit of work. We were not supposed to be going any place this year but when FD was announced I put the bug in DH's ear. A few days later he mentioned pricing out a trip . So by the time we both got the OK to take the time off it was already inside the 90 day mark. I think I booked on day 84. I got 6 of my first choice ADR's and 2 of my second choice out of 9 right on the first call. I got my other one but it took nearly three weeks. Had the online system not started up I doubt I would have scored the last one. I checked online between 3 and 7 times per day.

Thanks, I guess maybe I did just luck out. By the time I made the decision to start switching up my adrs the online system was up, and it really helped me to add and switch reservations. The system is excellent because you can quickly check anytime you are by a computer, no wasting 10-15 minutes on the phone just to check one time and date availability. Plus I like being in control when I am making adrs, it feels better to add a ressie and see it, or cancel it and see its the only one that got cancelled. Just open up one tab with menus, and the other to the disney site, and go to work. It is actually kind of fun.
