Leaving in 12 days and haven't received anything!

We leave in 12 days and I haven't received any ME tags or tickets of any sort. We booked through a travel agent. (Wal-Mart, I think. That's the one part of the trip that my DH took care of ) Will I receive airline tickets or do I just check in at the airport without a ticket? (I haven't flown in forever!) Also, what other documents should I plan on receiving? And, of course, at what point do I panic if I haven't received them? Thank you!!!!

You don't need tickets to fly... just a confirmation number. You tell the agent when you check in & check your luggage and they give you a boarding pass. Sometimes we haven't even had to give the number... just our name and ID to prove who we are.

As for the ME tags & tickets... I would be all over the travel agent! Just be a very friendly thorn in their side until you get some answers. Act NOW while there's still time to fix the problem. If they say "oh I'm sure they will show up any day" it's not good enough. You've spent a lot of money and you can't show up in Orlando with out them!! Smile and be nice, but don't back down.

I'd check with the travel agency you used. It seems that many times the ME information is sent to the travel agent, and they should in turn pass it on to you. You agent could very well have it and is holding it with some other items to give you. Go ahead give them a call.

You do not necessarily need the ME tags for your checked luggage. They should still have no problem picking it up for you and delivering it to your Disney Resort room. You would just need to make sure and tell the ME desk at the Orlando airport.

Those DME's seem like a headache.. We pitched ours and ended up getting a shuttle to pick us up. Our arrived about 20 days out from our scheduled flight time. Wonder why it cutting it 'real close' for some folks?

Hey there, we just recieved our DME stuff, but we leave in 16 days. We got it like 3 days ago. I called Disney Travel (who I booked thru) cause our package with ticket vouchers and DDP vouchers all arrived like 3 weeks ago. So they said the DME stuff usually arrives 15 - 20 days before you depart. You should call right away, however the DME people told me (i called them also when my stuff did not arrive together, my WDW package came alone first) and the lady said if I didn't recieve my stuff 2 weeks before we leave then they could overnight my stuff to me. So you might wanna call them as well. Good luck.
