leaving in 1 week, still have questions....

Hi - we will be at the Vistana villages from April 18th-26th. Our family members are me, (46) DH (48) DS(16) DD(9). We are all very excited, as we have not been to Disney in many years. I love these boards, I just am feeling a bit overwhelmed right now, I want to be sure I have not forgotten anything important! I bought 4 Brita water bottles, and crystal light packages. Can you put Crystal light in the water bottles, or will it break the filter? Do we need to bring water shoes for Wet and Wild?We have 3 day tickets for Disney, and the 4 park Orlando flex tickets, so we will also go to US, IOA, Wet and Wild and Sea World. We will be busy, for sure! I went to Kohls today, and bought 3 pairs of Capris, will it be too hot to wear them? I have an ugly vein in my leg, (plus I am now a size 14, so it's not a pretty sight, lol) so they do not look as bad as shorts on me.We have 6 Q and C vouchers to use at Disney. I think we will skip Animal Kingdom, though I am sure it is nice.We will have a washer and a dryer in our suite at the Vistana Villages, so I will try not to over pack.Will the kids need sweatshirts at night?I am nervous about flying, but the rest of my family really did not want to drive( we live in upstate NY). I used to fly all the time , no problems until a few years ago.... Also, all my husband has to do is get in the car and drive to the airport, I am the one that takes care of making sure everyone is packed, the bills are paid, the pets are taken care of, making sure we have all of our travel documents, travel $$$ , ect... but I also work full time(special Ed in a high school) so I guess I am a just a little stressed, thinking that I will forget something at the last minute. I guess that whatever I forget we can buy down there. I made no prior dining arrangements , I guess I should have. Is wet andWild an all day park? What about Sea World? it would be nice to have some pool time at the resort too!Thanks for all the great ideas on this board!!

You will have a lovely time and just relax. Just think of what is essential for your holiday (usually for us it is just the passport, tickets, travellor's cheques, credit cards, cameras), anything else you can buy if you do forget anything. I know your mind wouldn't stop racing round till you are actually on the flight trying to remember if you have forgotten anything but I do think this is part and parcel of being a Mam.

I think you will be fine in your Capri's as long as they are made from a cool material. The main thing is for you to feel comfortable with what you are wearing.

Everyone feels a bit nervous flying and also with the tragedy of 11th September. However, we need to keep living our lives and not give in to people who make this world a terrible place at times, otherwise they win. It is far safer flying than driving a car remember.

I have not been in April before so cannot really comment on the evening weather but to be on the safe side I would take sweatshirts for the kids. Sometimes on 'planes it can get a little bit cool so we are taking light sweatshirts with us on the 'plane then we have them should we need them in July.

I suppose it depends if your family likes water parks. We like them but only usually stay for half a day at BB before going on to do something else. We tend to treat them like a theme park, go on the rides and then come out. I know it would be easy to stay the day at BB but have not been to WnW. We have indoor ones in this country (small ones) and after a few hours we have had enough, noise more than anything with being enclosed.

Sea World I would spend a day in, seeing all those fascinating animals is fantastic. In this country no one has killer whales so seeing them at Sea World was very special. Getting close up to the dolphins and stingrays is good fun too.
