We are staying at SSR for a few nights before our 7-night cruise. At what time will the busses pick us up? (I know SSR isin't open yet, but does anyone have a guess from other resorts?) We want to get there early enough to book spa treatments (unless we can book them ahead of time, anyone know if/who to call?). I like to spend as much time on the boat as possible! :)

you might try tiffany town cars and save some money at least we did....

280.00 for 2 trips form the airport 1 from resort to port and 1 from port to air....

my parents are coming in seperatly so theres an extra 45 in this total.

disney transfers were 419.00

tiffany gives you a grocery shop if you want it ( bottled water case run for us) and picks you up when you want them to.

disney runs like a bus system.

tiffany you pay by car, we have a total of 6 people going thats why the disney was so high.

First of all, do you even know whether there will be a bus from SSR? Not trying to be the bad guy, but for a long time, there were no cruise busses from Old Key West. The baggage guys took us down to Port Orleans to catch the cruise bus.

That said, most of the resort bus transportation leaves around noon. Our time from the Poly was 11:45, from Port Orleans, it was 12:30. We had plenty of time for a character breakfast in the morning.

The break even point between private car and DCL transfers is usually 3 people. If there are more than 3 of you, a private limo service will be cheaper and will run on "your" schedule. Less than 3, DCL is cheaper, but you are stuck with their schedule.

No, you cannot book spa ahead of time. We were on the 2/7 Magic, and I had no problem getting all the reservations I wanted at times that I liked.

Have fun.

I would definitely opt for the car service instead of DCL buses, especially if you need any reservations on board. We were at POR and we didn't get to the port until 1:30. And now it sounds like they are letting people board earlier these days.

Another plus, no waiting in line with everyone else. It was like waiting in line for a ride, where everyone is trying to "protect" their space.

Have fun!
