Merry time
Not sure if read must be mad leaving from New York that time of year
Your thoughts please (am I making it up )
Thanks

We did this cruise last year it was 6 nights NY-SJU. We had a great time. Sure it was cold on embarkation day, we still went on deck for the sail away party, watched the Statue of Liberty from our Verandah and we didn’t freeze. I do think the waters were rougher than when we sail from port Canaveral. I had no regrets and we had a wonderful time!

We were on the 11/10-11/17 cruise out of NYC last year and LOVED it. Loved it so much we booked the same itinerary for this year (only it's going to be Halloween instead of Christmas).

It was cold on embarkation but manageable. The wind was really bad as we pulled out of NYC so everyone trying to see the Statue of Liberty was bundled up behind the glass wall on Deck 10 Forward (at the basketball court). Not sure if weather is what you're worried about but if it is, I wouldn't. Even if it is cold in NYC, once you start sailing south it won't be.

I've gone out of NYC in November and October. The biggest thing is to be prepared for the cold, wear layers, gloves, hat, etc.

It’s not that bad. I did a cruise out of northern New Jersey on rccl in January.

Thank you so much to everyone who replied. So after the first day the weather gets warmer to sit in the sun?
Thank you again

Can anyone remember what Disney musicals were on this sailing please

Also what restaurants please :)

We did it in 2016. At that time the Very Merrytime NYC to SJ was the week before this year's. It was nice for sailaway but a little windy in the open as we passed by the Statue of Liberty. We're on the NYC to SJ this year as well. It's nicer by the second day. I'm pretty sure we saw Tangled and Twice Charmed on our previous sailing.

Loved this cruise last year...but was a 6 night. My favorite was Tangled the musical and going to the pub which had changed into the Snuggly Duckling...

It was SUPER cold, because it was unusually cold that week, but manageable with the right clothes...and nothing better than sailing by the Statue of Liberty. The cold and the rain storm was about 36 hours and it was far rougher then they expected.
