Greetings all.

I'm away to DIS with the family end of August and I want it to be as stress-free as possible (long story.. but basically bad holiday experiences over the years make it a prime requirement that things go smoothly for me, and therefore for everyone else!)

I've got most things sorted, but always get a minor twitch over airports... not least the parking arrangements. Had stuff pinched from my car before, fuel siphoned off (really!) and faulty barriers making me see red and causing delay and nearly missing flights.

A friend of mine said that Manchester Airport (and maybe others now) have a one stop shop service that allows you to use the debit/credit card you used to buy your ticket to get into the airport car park. Seems good, so I looked it up and here's the blurb:

It seems fine and the proof of the pudding will be in the eating, so will let you know how it goes!

Stress-free = everyone happy!!:)

I've used this service several times at Bristol Airport. Unless something's changed (and from the YouTube link I can't see anything which suggests it has), you don't use the credit or debit card you used to book your flight as you suggested in another thread. In fact, thinking about it, that wouldn't be possible. The airline or travel agent wouldn't be authorised to share card details with the parking company. You book your parking online and then use the credit or debit card you used for that to access the car park. :thumbsup2

We used meteor meet and greet at Manchester last trip and have booked them again.

Stress free - you call them when you are enroute they meet you at the drop off point and drive your car away and park it offsite. Then when you land back you call them and they meey tou with the car.

I know there are horror stories with companies like this parking cars in dodgy places or driving around in them (DH was very sceptical) but everything was fine. I know a lot on here used them (there was a 50% off code last year)

We used Meteor Meet and Greet at Heathrow last year. Excellent service and we've booked again. :thumbsup2
