Leaving for WDW in a few days...

We used Fastpass Plus in October and November with no problems. We were able to change ours on the fly as needed. I've got a couple suggestions.

1) Make sure your smartphone/tablet operating system and My Disney Experience app are up to date.

2) Capture a screen save of each day's FP plus selections and keep a picture of it on your smartphone/tablet.

3) There are CMs at various places with iPads ready to help people with My Disney Experience. If you have problems with getting into the app, see if they can help you. We did not notice any actual signed places where these CMs were, but saw them near attractions and near Fastpass machines.
There also were some unattended Fastpass Plus stations. They were smaller than Fastpass machines, but pretty visible. I think I took a picture of one and will post it if I find it.

Also each park has a fast pass plus help center where you can make fast pass plus or edit your fast pass plus. So I am sure if your having trouble with the app making or editing fast pass plus they can help to.

I found out that if you have your actual plastic tickets, you can also use them for the regular FP. Though honestly the DAS is the most helpful, I am not sure how I would have managed without it.

Have been a little worried about how this new system will work. Planning to go with mother who is severe diabetic and has mobility issues along with our 2 1/2 yr old who will be finishing up a 19 week chemo treatment plan.
