Leaving first week of June ME thread

Yep, nothing here for June 7th either. Yesterday I got real excited because I saw the Fed Ex man pull into my apartment complex and drive over by my building, but no such luck.

DME has assured me on two separate occasions that everything will be fine without the tags, but I'd just feel better if I had them. I don't want anything to go wrong on my "dream vacation!"

Received a lovely e-mail from Disney today reminding me of my vacation that starts this Sun, June 5. also said to be sure and put the yellow luggage tags on my bags for DME. HA .....Leaving June 5 and no tags

I'm another one for June 5th who still has not received any tags. After seeing how many others there are leaving the same day who haven't gotten theirs either, I think I'm not going to hold my breath! Haha! Best of luck to us all!

Hey, get this . . . I just got an e-mail from Disney reminding me to put the yellow luggage tags on my bags before I leave for the airport so that they can claim my bags for Magical Express. Yeah, I would . . . IF I'D EVER GOTTEN THEM!!!!!!! Can you tell I've given up hope? . . . oh well, I just hope they don't lose our bags. I don't want to have to wear the same two outfits for eight days!

hee hee...I got that email too. I thought of calling to thank them for reminding me to put the tags on my bags...and to remind them that they forgot to send them to me in the first place.

I also got that email. Still no tags though and we leave on Monday. Around here we don't get deliveries every day, we are just too remote, so if it doesn't come today I doubt that we will get them.

I'm also heading for WDW on June 5. No tags. We are taking my God-daughter and they were going to send me the tags and I was going to forward tags to her. Well, that won't be happening. We'll have a great trip anyway. I guess they are still working the bugs out. See you there! -Paula

We leave June 18 and I received tags (today) for only 2 of us (5 going). I called Disney they didn't even have my flight information. So my question was how did they know I was even using DME?

Looks like I can start watching for mine then....where in the country are you located? I'm up in NE. Wonder if that makes a difference.

Well it's Saturday, June 4 and still no tags. Even if the tags come Monday it's too late to send them to my sister in NC. I'm sure it will be ok but she's worried.
Right now I'm worried about packing and all those other things since I have to work this weekend before vacation. I always do this and then wish I had more time. And everything goes ok.
I will be in Disney World on Tuesday!

We are leaving June 11th and we just received the tags today.

We are leaving Fri June 10.... No tags yet, just talked to ME and the lady said IF we receive them it will most likely be Thurs or Fri morn. Well Thurs. would be okay, but we will leave for the airport at 5:30 Fri. morn so I don't think they would deliver before then. I had called a few weeks ago and all our info was correct and still is. I'm happy some of us are getting our tags in a timely manner, but why don't they send them out in order of departure? I wish they would just tell me "You will not get them in time" instead of telling me on May 15 "You will get them by the end of May" and then today "If you get them it will be Thurs." If they would tell me "you won't get them" I would not call and bother them anymore and make plans to make our luggage (alot of luggage for 6 people) stand out. Anyone else that has not received their tags yet have split resort stays, arriving on ME at 1 resort and returning on ME from another? Could this be the problem, even though they have all the info correct and always have?????

We called yesterday and they have all of our info right and its in the computer, we had them read it to us...but we have no tags. They said we wont get them Oh well, we will just wing it and hope our bags make it.

and still no tags. My wife is in a panic and thinks we should forget it and try to make a last minute town car ressie.
I hate to spend the extra $$, but even less thrilled with the thought of starting our vacation with a major screw-up.

We don't have ours either and we leave tomorrow, Oh well, I have a feeling it will be ok. I have really cut back on my packing to keep more with us. With three kids we have two carry on's (one with electronic "toys" and a diaper bag), a purse and two other bags to check.
