Does anyone know if Disney allows that? I have a very independent 8 year old boy who would probably enjoy being in there more than an excursion in Mexico. Does anyone know if that is allowed/has anyone done that?

Yes Disney expressly allows it, I have done it with the Lab and nursery, they even time the openings with the Port Times.

You will probably get some responses as to why certain posters would not do that, but Disney is OK with it.

Yes you can. Just be sure to let them know when you will be back on the ship, so they know not to try to contact you, if they need to.

Yes you can, yes I have done it. Don't think I would do it again. I hate the idea that if something happened to myself, or my child, that we would be that far apart.
