Leave the castle like this or not??

I LOVE the golden accents on the castle - so much more magical!! I hope they keep them on.

The mirror should go though, when this celebration is over.

I do like it and agree with most just take down the mirror in front. They will probably leave it, they left that hideous thing on the side of Spaceship Earth.

I like the castle now, except for that mirror. I also liked it before(from 1999 until last year), so I wouldn't mind it being either way. In all honesty, the change has made me even more jealous of Cinderella: the girl is beautiful, never ages, is married to a prince, and apparently gets her castle remodeled every few years!

I like the gold decorations, but I eventually think they should come down. In fact, I think all of the special decorations should come down...including the arm over the Epcot ball and that Sorceror's Hat in MGM.

I love the gold accents. Like someone already said, it makes it look more magical. The mirror could go, but I don't have a really strong opinion on it. It will be interesting to see what they do after the celebration.

I love the characters on the castle!! Especially Peter Pan!

I have never seen Epcot without the arm or MGM without the hat, so I'd be sad to see them go. I maybe could live without the arm, but not the Hat...I LOVE the hat!!

Oh well, I'll just jump into this fire.
I don't like the added gold decorations and characters--too much gilding the lilly. I think it's too distracting and, well, ostentatious.
I hope they take them down soon.
Just my very, very humble opinion.

I wouldn't HATE it if they left the gold up (but took down the mirror), but would prefer to take it all down and go back to au natural. I HATE HATE HATE the hand and wand over Spaceship Earth. It's stupid and detracts from the look and classiness of Epcot.

I really like the gilt castle. It's really beautiful...but I think it needs to come down after the celebration is over.

I wish I could buy a castle snowglobe with the anniversary decorations!

I say take the stuff down. I like the castle without any decorations, just sitting there in it's natural look. However, I do agree that the current decor is far better than the birthday cake monstrosity that it was for the 25th anniversary.

Can someone pleaseeee post a picture of the Castle or I won't see it until October. I'm very curious to see how it looks. I went for 25 yr. with the pink B'day cake, Yuck. Aslong as it's not pink then it is good I guess. Thanks
