I saw the video last night and frankly the photographers that were there contributed to the situation. They were all hounding her and the bodyguards were pushing them away. It was a stressful situation to begin with and she looks kinda lost right about when she stumbles. She NEVER was in danger of losing the baby. The news person used all kinds of infamatory words like the babies head "snapped violently" back. It was ridiculous and sad.
I dont agree with her car seat problems, she has enough money to pay someone to figure that stuff out for her. The highchair I have to wonder about. But I do not work for CPS and would not wish them on anyone except a real child abuser and I am therefore unqualified to judge. This incident it seems to me the paparazzi that were there were to blame.[/QUOTE]
I have to agree that the paparazzi had a big hand in this as well and so do the people who buy those publications that the paparazzi work for. Everyone who follows these celebrities every single move is contributing to this insanity. I know those celebrities need publicity to keep their careers going and it's a love hate relationship with the tabloids, but this country's obsession with celebrities has gotten out of control, IMO.
Don't get me wrong here, because I have zero respect for Britney Spears and how she has lived her life in the public eye. She's a train wreck waiting to happen and she's brought a lot of this on herself, to an extent. The entertainment press knows this and that's one of the reasons she's getting so much press. When her marriage to that poor excuse of a man ends and it will, the press will really be into full throttle overdrive. She hasn't had a new CD or toured in a few years now, yet the tabloids and the people who buy them, can't get enough of her. There's no excuse for the amount of coverage she's getting and it's like the tabloids are almost on a death watch or something.
When I was much younger, I thought it would be cool to be a rich celebrity and live the "lifestyle". No thanks! I'll just take the money, you can keep all the other nonsense.
