But then again I had a couple of fruity frozen beverages while at WDW with my kids two weeks ago.So I'm obviously a bad judge of what's allowed and what's not. But they were plastic glasses so I guess I have at least a little motherly instinct.

Wow,kinda harsh! The media gets to decide when Brittney is a good mother Every mom I know parents in a different way-I wouldn't want anyone else to judge my parenting skills. OK,she should not have had the kid on her lap-so shoot her!
When I was little,my dad sold insurance and in Louisiana.They were advised to tell their customers that seat belts were dangerous because of all the waterways. If you were in a wreck,you might get stuck in your belt and drown. Now, of course, that's changed but how many of us on the Dis were children when seat belting was not the law? Lo and behold,we're still here and mostly in one piece.
Your kids sure are lucky to have a perfect mom who never makes a mistake! Please,would you post for us your rules on parenting so that we will never make a mistake and be perfect parents too!

So it's ok not to wear a seatbelt because you lived without one when you were a child? That's pathetic! I can't count the number of times around here people have died because they didn't wear a seat belt and their bodies flew out of the car or even worse partially out of the windshield. You look at pics of that kind of death and tell me how great it was kids didn't wear seatbelts when you were young.

And since you made it personal yes my kids are lucky they had me for a parent since I have great common sense!
